LWIN LEE | Heritage Village @ Jaya Shopping Centre

After a whirlwind of myriad culinary spectrum, this jaunt has thrilled our palates with authentic Penang Nyonya fare, only at HeritageVillage.

A Brief Note:
In 1998, with an entrepreneurial mindset, the founder began serving her nasi lemak from a food stall in a coffee shop, and over time, it began gaining popularity.

Her passion and vision to make and serve fine quality nasi lemak, has led her in successfully perfecting her family's nasi lemak recipe through a special blend of different rice grans mixed with fresh coconut milk.

She has since passed on her family's heritage onto her children and till today, her family's legacy still lives on with their recipes served to customers today. With every mouthful, they can have a taste of a traditional Penang Nyonya Heritage.

This third outlet welcomes its guests into its vibrantly enchanted interior setting that is further culturally-enhanced with vintage ornamentations, alongside its wooden table-chair settings, spiced up by a huge floral décor at the middle of the premise.

Ambience was nonchalantly relaxing, coupled with friendly staff and hearty food. What else can you ask for, to ensure your dining a wonderful one?

Among the highlights of the day encompasses authentic Nyonya cuisines and also Malaysian favorites; “nasi lemak”, that is sumptuously dished out using Penang's generational recipe to entice your tastebud.

Starters to sorta warm up your tummy.

Heritage Jiu Hu Char (MYR 12.90)
~ Nyonya dish made from sengkuang, carrots, dried squid and mushroom, to be eaten with fresh lettuce leaves.
Kinda nostalgic one as this comfy dish reminds me of the similar fare used to cook by my late grandma.

Heritage Lor Bak Platter (MYR 12,90)
~ Chicken Lor Bak, Centure Egg and Fried Tofu. Preserved egg tastes good and Lor Bak is not oily, preferably comes with some dippings perhaps? ^_^
