LWIN LEE | こむぎ KOMUGI CAFE @ PAVILION KL

If you are a frequent patron of Tokyo Street at Pavilion Shopping Mall’s sixth floor, high chances are you might already aware of or even tried out the scrumptious food offered at こむぎ KOMUGI CAFÉ. This vibrant Japanese bakery serves nothing but the best and freshest pastries to tickle your taste bud amusingly.

Set in a chic and sleek environment, it’s definitely a place where one could seek respite after a hectic day of work or errands running, over a cup of aromatic java accompanied by the toothsome array of delicious bakes.

KOMUGI uses only the finest bread flours from Japan, giving its breads a unique flavour and natural softness. All breads are suitable for consumption by vegetarians as there are neither animal fats nor animal-derived food ingredients involved.

Let's not make our tummy wait much longer, shall we? (=

CARAMEL MACCHIATO (MYR 12.70)

New kid on the block, Frappe!
OREO VANILLA (MYR 13.90)

Or you could wash down the throat occasionally with KOMUGI’s pure oxygenated water, Mizu (MYR 2.90)

TOFU CHEESECAKE (MYR 12.25)
Finally found this dainty confectionery again, as it's not so commonly available in any cafe or pastry house. Nevertheless, the delish tofu cake that i  previously chanced at Ecole P and Tokyo Kitchen still so much memorably lingering around, slurps!

Lo and behold, fans of kronuts could delight in this exceptional delicacy over here eventually.

BAKED KRONUTS OREO (MYR 4.05)

FRIED CHICKEN CURRY (MYR 3.35)
Encased within the fluffy dough was a savory filling of chicken curry with a slightly sweeter note(Japanese curry) as compared to your usual local curry.

CREAMY CUSTARD KRONE (MYR 5.10) and HANJUKU CHEESE ORIGINAL (MYR 4.05)

Custard cream is freshly pumped into the krones upon order to ensure the freshness.
The velvet cream is very special as it is rather full of eggy flavor unlike the conventional ones which is milkier. Indeed a unique recipe by Komugi. As for the Hanjuku cheese, it just melts in your mouth effortlessly.

Baum Baumkuchen By Komugi!

SOFT MINI BAUM (MYR 4.25)
Customers could choose from Original (Butter), Chocolate or Matcha.

Involved a majestic imported baking machine at hefty price, just to ensure natural, handmade and quality confectioneries are imbued with true Japanese quality culture and tradition.

Do expect more new dishes to be introduced this second half of the year onwards.
Japanese chef would come down for a visit annually to inspect and ensure all necessary methodology is upkeep in all the operations of both deli and hot kitchen. So do stay tuned!

Cheers and Carpe Diem!  ❤ℒℴѵℯ❤
