I.ONE CAFE @ TAMAN SUPREME, CHERAS
After
a fun achievement of a day excursion around the city outskirt, finally I.One Café wrapped up the night as our
final stop of Rawang-Semenyih-Broga foodtripping.
It was
a surprised discovery as I hardly ventured deep into Cheras area for coffee
hopping purpose, reason because I had always thought that the caffeine field is
greener at the Uptown Damansara side. Guess I need to revamp this outlook then
as it seems like decent coffee scene has already slowly making its existence at
the Cheras neighbourhood (=
Rustic
interior with wood as its main theme, set in a casual ambiance.
And this
“&” ultimately never fail to remind me of the culinary rebellious team of Ampersand again! (=
GUINESS CHOCOLATE CAKE (MYR 13)
Fell
short to our expectation as there was barely any hint of Guiness in it, apart
from the chocolate taste. Perhaps should have chosen the rum-infused slice
instead (=
LEMON CURD CHEESECAKE (MYR 12)
Luckily,
this dainty slice did surprise us amusingly. Came with decent tartness that was
well-balanced with the smooth cheese filling. Which then paired really well with cuppa,
especially with Long Black, as happily and enthusiastically acclaimed by CFC,
haha. Good to see that happy, foodie face, whee!
POUROVER COFFEE (MYR 10)
Guatemala
Maragogype freshly brewed in 200ml portion.
Smooth and fruity palate besides very affordably priced as well,
considering it’s of single origin hand brew.
SPICY MANGO LATTE (MYR 13)
And
for a lill’ more of cheeky surprises, voila- Spicy Mango Latte!
It
really came with mango taste with humble spiciness. Although am not usually a
fan of flavoured coffee most of the time, but this, definitely something
awakening new for some playful twist. Bespoke? Hell yeah!
