REMINISCE CAFÉ (舊相好) @ MID VALLEY MEGAMALL
Just the name itself is
enough to relive back the many childhood memories that was vividly imprinted
especially when spent with the love ones during the younger days. And for that intangible
virtue, Reminisce Café wish to recreate
that environment for the modern and busy city folks to once again, indulge in
the toothsome delicacies reminiscent of the good ol’ days………………
Located at the ever
brisk shopping mall of Mid Valley Megamall, this oriental establishment is
located at the al fresco lot of the building which is facing Gardens shopping
mall.
Comfortable setting
equipped with warm lighting, injecting the space with some cozy and intimate
moments.

that we sampled the other day, that had tickled out taste buds nostalgically

Fried Porky Luncheon Meaty- simple and fuss-free snack!
我們的辣辣椰漿飯 (MYR 22.90)
“Nasi lemak” with curry chicken, sambal squid and chicken satay.
奶油豬仔飯 (MYR 17.90)
Butter pork belly served with steamed rice. Trust me, this is too good to be missed! (=
咖哩雞叻沙 (MYR 14.90)
Curry “laksa” with chicken. Choice of koay
teow, mee hoon, or yellow mee.
炭燒沙爹串 Chicken satay with condiments

Love the meaty bites as they are not too fatty. I might be bias as i love lean meat dearly, hehe.
芝士脆炸雞扒 (MYR 21.10)
Cheesy crispy chicken chop with fries and
condiments. Choose sauce between black pepper or white mushroom. Personally, i enjoy the huge slab of chicken by itself- due its juicy tenderness.
芋頭甜薯年糕夾 (MYR 5.90)
Crispy “nian gao” with yam and sweet potato. Love
the light crispiness and not too oily.
七龍珠與功夫熊貓 (MYR 8.90)
Soya black “cincau” drink with homemade soya jelly.
It makes a good and delightful drink to clear down the throat after the yummy
feast!
Overall, Reminisce Café provides a relaxing and
homey oasis for patrons to seek respite after a tiring day, be it working or
shopping at the mall. If to choose my favourite pick, it would have to be the
luscious 奶油豬仔飯, butter pork belly! And what’s for your palate? So remember to
