FRENCH DINING| 2OX @ THE ROW, KL





Bonjour!
It’s been awhile since our last epicurean diary on the exquisite élan of French affair. But that doesn’t mean it has ever slipped off our mind for its distinctive panache would always keep our palate mesmerized with its well-known recherché culinary.






So after barely a week after experiencing one-of-its-kind of High Tea session which is served on cruise, surrounded by vast Blue Ocean, we are eager to share our pleasant dining experience over at the elegant 2OX, which is strategically located at the heritage patio of The Row, adapting twenty-two 1940s shophouses into a neighbourhood of innovative and independent offices, cafes, bars, shops and also exciting event space.







Upon stepping in, guests would be in awe with the swish interior of Two Ox that is understatedly executed with the enclave adjacent to the kitchen liberally illuminated with exuberant natural lights, while the main dining area is warmly lighted up with calming classicy neon bulbs to set the mood in place.








The kitchen is currently helmed by Chef Philipe and his team, dishing out the many sumptuous repast and moreish desserts.





STARTER
Roasted Seedless Grapes, Marinated Feta Cheese & Balsamic Reduction





MAIN
Seared Calamari With Caramelized Garlic, Tomato Coulis ala Provencal, Fondant Potatoes & Asparagus Tempura



I love how the calamari is being browned just nice without rendering it too hard but still locking in the juiciness within. Thumbs up!
