CINCIN WINE, BAR & GRILL @ CHERAS, KUALA LUMPUR

To those who has been wondering why a hiatus on my wine pairing epicurean journey recently, it’s merely because life has kept me tad busy but rather fulfilled with various travels and occasions; which I’m still trying my very best to share them all (= Anyway, let’s first shift to the main focus here.

So what is CINCIN?
It simply means Cheers in Italian!

In essence, it has its history dated back to ancient times where the Italians would then propose a toast by putting all their silver wine glasses (wine glass material that is popular during that time which currently is much more common with crystal wine glass) together, and that’s when all came into contact and give off that “cin cin” sound.

Hence, CINCIN aspires to be the place where bon vivants gather around to have a good round of rejoice, be it anniversary celebration for lovebirds, special celebration for family affair or even just to throw a party for birthday babies!

With its chic and multi-faceted rustic interior, all lighted up in warm ambiance in order to inject that exclusivity vibes within, CINCIN certainly aptly positions itself as the versatile venue for various conviviality to many Klang Valley folks here.

Open since May 2017 with 2 spacious floors at the premises, each level is thematically designed with motley of aesthetic elements. The ground floor which caters for later lunch diners; mainly for beer and casual dining, starts operating from 3pm to 2am daily whereas the upper floor greets its wine dining customer’s every day from 5pm up to 2am throughout the week.

Once entered and thou shall be smittened by the many soft touch that has been endearingly set up with potpourri of mirthful ornaments that never fail to spur you up instantly the moment you stepped in. The sparkling red and golden whatnots which is further illuminated by glowing warm LEDs somehow reminds me that St.Nick annual visit is not far away and shall be greeting us real soon.

During that sensuous gustation night, we have wine2u’s wine sommelier Danny, to join us that very evening and share with us his invaluable insights and personal perceptions towards this dainty relish, on what and why that particular food is paired with the respective wine.

You just can't go wrong with any meringue- only when they are made right!
In this case, this exquisite piece of sweet and sour bites is not overly saccharine, but striking a good balance with the refreshing lemon curd. Ultimately, serves as the perfect sweet ending to any sumptuous feast!

Exclusive for its loyal wine lovers, each guest would be given a dedicated personal wine glass upon minimum spending of MYR 500 for wine orders in maximum combination of 3 receipts. So whenever the wine enthusiast patrons by again and that means- no one but only you would be using the same wine glass. I like that idea though, apart from its individual emphasis, it’s also more hygienic as you won’t be sharing the wine glass with other strangers.

On top of that, each wine glass would then be adorned with CINCIN special piece of jewelry meant to be added on from time to time at the bottom of each wine glass in each different occasion held at CINCIN. And this bracelet-like idea can be expanded along the way as you accumulate them frequently.
