MEDITERRANEAN EVENING @ HUCK’S CAFE,





After much beckoning words of mouth travelled around about this quaint little house of earnest recipe which mostly revolving around Mediterranean cuisine as well as Asian fusion occasionally, finally get to try it out ourselves one leisurely weekend after prior booking where we opted for Chef Surprise Me menu (MYR 150/pax) at none other than Huck's Cafe!







It’s always been enchantingly amazing to see how a self-taught maestro who turns his sheer passions into unparalleled culinary creations in his own interpretation inspired from various travel stints in abroad. And this man with his magical hands is none other than the genial and very down-to-earth, Chef Huck, or fondly known among regulars as Huck Seng!




We thought that some “omakase” surprise would be an interesting element in this case. Hence, we decided to go for the anticipated course without much hesitation, by just informing the crew of the type of meat that we would love to have, and then, Huck Seng would execute them accordingly using the best premium ingredients that he sources freshly.




While waiting for the kitchen crew to deliver our surprisal, I heeded the shutterbug stint calling and curiously walked around the premises to adore the cozy minimalist set up.






Apart from the aesthetic interior and Zen-imbued environment, what really astonished me was the dining oasis was actually very spacious indeed! I was filled with excitement as I wandered from one enclave to another silently, carefully with soft steps so as not to cause any unintended interruption to other diners.





Indeed it’s really big and I certainly yearn for such roomy home (=

It was definitely a lovely evening with such warm atmosphere, surrounded good vibes and earnestly prepared delicious repast- especially the mushroom soup that comes with loads of mushrooms bites, yum yum! Not forgetting also its perfectly done steak that is grilled just nice with that engaging thin crispy layer at the outside, wrapping a succulently juicy medium meat within, and also it’s aptly named- Adult Ice Cream!
