EMU POINT CAFE @ ALBANY PERTH, WA
The heart was still vividly smittened by the beautiful
serendipity of Albany Wind Farm
while we were on the way enroute to Emu Point Café for some late lunch after a
leisure stroll at the lush greenery track against the wide blue ocean as the
backdrop. The view was simply breathless!
Having said that, tummy started drumming as it had already
passed 2pm by the time we reached the cozy café located just relaxingly facing
the Emu Point beach on a lovely afternoon.
Before met a handsome Golden Retriever who was also enjoying
the tranquility of the café al fresco area had to offer.
We decided on the few nosh hastily before the café would go
for a break and so that we could check in to our air bnb on time at Spencer
Park which was hospitably hosted by Fay and Murray. Let’s keep that story for
another time, shall we? (=
TOASTED SANDWICHES
(AUD 9.50)
Thick slices of Ham coasted with alluringly melted Cheddar,
tastily sandwiched with Mustard and Pickles! Picture might not do it a justice,
but trust me- it’s simply terrific!
Look at the gooey cheese between the fluffily soft bread!
Guess this is the case of Simplicity at its Best!
SLOW COOKED BEEF
TACOS (AUD 21)
Slow Cooked Beef Brisket, Chipotle Mayo, Slaw, Re-Fried
Beans, Corn and Bean Salsa- made up the toothsomely inviting savoury tacos that
were not only packed with flavours, savoury, nicely crafted but the dressing
was very nicely calibrated to pairs really well with the tender yet juicy
pulled beef meat. The portion was wonderfully huge too!
RASPBERRY LEMON (AUD
5.60)
As usual, some dainty slice to complement the meal on a
sweet note.
CHAI TEA (AUD
6.20- Pot for 2 | AUD 4.20- Pot for 1)
And of course, some tea to wrap it up refreshfully before we
continue to our next pitstop.
Overall, it was a nice place to unwind and chill down reposefully
should you have more time to spare and not in a hurry.
Then I guess you would love to spend a little bit more time
by the beautifully beckoning beach of Emu Point.
