NO SUSHI MONDAY @ SUSHI HIBIKI (鮨ひびき)

While not many get the chance yet to experience the rich Japanese culture in the beautiful country itself, I guess by visiting Sushi Hibiki is the nearest and most achievable alternative you could have to thoroughly immerse in the ambiance as how any usual Japanese comrades would seem relishing in the zen vibes of the space of casual watering hole after going through a resourceful day ahead.

There are days when the body just needed a soothing place to unwind and the mind to rest after a hectic day ahead- especially when you are one of those who often got bitten by Monday blue bugs (= While your tummy might not be craving for anything sinful grubs but merely delightful and earnest nosh with some tipples, Sushi Hibiki has got this ideally fixed with its latest introduction of fuss-free moreish fete, themed as No Sushi Monday!
You guys must be wondering what is No Sushi Monday huh?
Basically, it’s a weekly day of casual sanctuary for anyone seeking a serene spot to loosen up over some light bites of authentic fare from The Land of Rising Sun.
This sake tapas session is only available on every Monday (which is usually an off-day for Sushi Hibiki as known to its regulars) and currently opened for walk-in clientele only. Having said this, it is not to be confused with the usual omakase sushi course whereby an intricately full-fledged rendition of sushi and sashimi courses are served.
Rather, this casual-style serving is perfect for those who are looking for some placid and yet intimate oasis to reenergize over earnestly crafted Japanese authentic morsels that are best enjoyed with like-minded comrades over light camaraderie, accompanied with sake or cold brewed green tea.
And your mundane Monday will never be the same when interacting and enjoying the gastronomy orchestrated by the affable and informative Chef Fuji-san. I mean how could you not bask in rejoicingly when the menu is changed every two weeks that will always keep you anticipating every now and then?

Guests can choose their preferred ala carte from the artistically drawn minimalist menu consisting of Sashimi, Oden, Tempura as well as Small Plates of dainty sweet bites.
