DELUXCIOUS LUXURIOUS HERITAGE HOTEL @ GEORGE TOWN

Glad that finally making another return to the food haven island where all the best hawker food such as Char Koay Teow, Hokkien Mee, Lobak and many more that are alluringly beckoning. It has really been a long overdue trip, tbh :D

Thankfully, we were still able to secure a room at the eleventh hour (a day before?) since it was decided on ad hoc basis. And Pillow managed to pleasantly surprise Cushion again by tempting her dreamily with all-time soft spot for any old English house design just like the previous highland vacation at Smokehouse, bliss!!

Well, this building of Deluxcious Hotel also essentially reminds me of Farquhar Mansion too- except that the latter is a dining place for French flair.

After some smooth journey from KL, we reached the venue much earlier than the check-in time at 3pm, instead of the usual 1pm. But that’s fine, we went to discover the coffee scene in Penang now before coming back to officially check-in with our luggage.

Upon entering the Victorian architecture, we were greeted by its majestic design of boldly contrasting chrome of red, white and gold but harmoniously grandeur as a whole. I personally love the white angelic ambiance it portrayed at certain nook and corner of the building.

So there you go, our Deluxe Queen Room for the crib of the day. Suddenly felt kind of prima donna especially with the high bolster and thick bed frame design (=

There was also another idyllic room type seen.

When we came back after dinner and ‘Terminator’ movie at Queensbay Mall, we did another round of quick overview of this mansion for its evening version of cyclorama before calling it a day, hehe.
