The Good Batch @ Uptown Damansara

Ever since I have tasted the food by The Good Batch at one of the event which has it as their main F&B caterer, it has since got imprinted curiously in my foodie encyclopedia ( which I wasn’t aware of this eatery at Uptown then), simply because, the array of food served is really awesome and finger lickin' good!

And now that it has come to our knowledge of its exact location, we decided to pay a visit at their café to further reaffirm the wonderful previous yearning, in hope to be surprised by its other good eats available in their menu. (So there is some expectation in fact :P )

It was a quiet early evening when we made a trip there. Arrived and secured our cozy seats rather quickly in view of the odd hours of our stopover. Surroundings was rustically adorned with cutesy bric-a-brac softened by some chic pleasure.

Like most of the indie cafes around, Mirage machine which is hand assembled in Holland, is chosen as the preferred brand for brewing their coffee, besides the artsy trinkets around.

And this scene appears quite nostalgic to me. Do you?
Does it also conjure up the fun and wonders of backpacking travel?  (=

Alright, it's time to justify the de facto of this eatery!

Norweigian (MYR 20.90)

One of the best carte of the day!
Smoked Salmon, capsicum and onion confit, topped with a pair of perfectly poached eggs and lemon Hollandaise sauce on lightly toasted bread. The muffin is rather soft and fluffy.

Simply fantastic and enjoy the runny yolks so much!

French “O” (V) (MYR19.90)

A more decent version of the eggy recipe; Shiok and fluffy omelette that is filled with Parmesan, Cheddar and diced capsicums, served with ripened cherry tomatoes and lightly toasted bread.

However, we both like it to be cheesier as the omellette actually tastes rather bland to us. But when coupled with the top-drawer onion confit from Norweigian, it helps save the day!

Caffe Latte (MYR 8.50)
Ah ha, coffee is a must to me, when it comes to patronizing any coffee place. The latte comes pleasantly aromatic with the enticing coffee fragrance.

Lemon Ginger Mint Tea (MYR 8)
Or, if you are not so into the mood of coffee for that day, getting a sip from this Gryphon Tea’s range is equally good too. Citrusy paired with some gingery sensation, are able to meekly rejuvenate you in a way……

So yea, it actually round up another satisfying meal and is being pinned for another session for other good eats then :)

Till then, stay happily and live yummily…………….. ^_^

Carpe Diem!
