LWIN LEE | SALAD ATELIER CAFE @ THE WELD

I must say that am very glad to have known Salad Atelier Cafe, which is located conveniently at The Weld, just further up from Bukit Bintang area. This cafe, by far, is one of the best healthy joint in town that really promotes a greener and salubrious lifestyle by serving folks around Golden Triangle with tantalizing and scrumptious eats- salad bowls with a refreshing twist!

‘Atelier’ is a French word which  simply means "artist studio".  So patrons of Salad Atelier a can be an artist when it comes to creating their personal salad with all the "colours" made available in the "studio" from 50 over varieties. Hence, the slogan “Every Bowl’s A Personal Masterpiece”. Be Creative!

After another recent enlightening discovery at The Salad Bar, Citta Mall, it has somehow opened up my mind pertaining to how enjoyable a salad bowl could be, much far away from what I thought would be the ubiquitous and bland greens doused in the usual creamy dressing. Naturally, this revolutionary has stirred up some genuine interest in me and likely to encourage me to savour more salad in the future for a healthier diet.

Love the cozy and vibrant environment, that upon stepping in, you feel relaxed effortlessly.

To start it off, I tried the soup of the day which happens to be Tomato Soup (MYR 6.90). It was pretty good I would say, with the appetizing flavor of tomatoes that makes a great alternative to the usual cream soup we have.

Goes well with some dashes of freshly ground black pepper too!

Apart from that, the smoothies over here are  equally promising too. Love this All-In blend (MYR 11.90), that consists of kiwis, strawberries, banana and blueberries! Felt so rejuvenated and its fruitiness is such a gleeful pleasure.

Coming up next is the signature creations from this establishment, Monster Salad priced at MYR 22.90 where you get to personalized your very own bowl of personal masterpiece from a vast selection of 1 base + 6 main + 2 supplementary + 1 prime.

Below are my own preference for the day!

Sweet Corn
Soba

Nachos Chip
Sweet Potatoes
Feta Cheese
Asparagus

SUPPLEMENTARY
Parmesan Cheese

Close friend should know that am yet a big buff of sashimi or anything that is not really cooked, but this smoked salmon served here has surprisingly changed my mind for the better. Now I get to appreciate this flair better, thanks to the freshness and succulency of their fresh ingredients. And i even get to add in soba as part of my definitive bowl. One word to describe it, fantabulous!

Guess i have no qualms even dropping by at the eleventh hour, trying out the wallet-friendly deal in town (Offpeak), albeit a tad too rushing- fyi, i have a flight to Korea to catch in a couple hours of time and yet to complete my final packing! (Thinking back, it's actually rather adrenaline-rushing but thrilling at the same time, for being able to enjoy awesome meal locally before flying to the land of Hallyu)

I suppose it's just the matter of time before am coming back for another wonderful nosh time here- my customizable salad feast!

You could either dine in or take away with delish salad bowls starting at MYR 13.90 onwards. So make you pick and enjoy them guilt-free. Simply salad indulgence!

For some glimpse of my Busan-Seoul travelogue, do stay tuned and I promise to get them posted asap, batch by batch :)
