LWIN LEE | Borneo Rainforest Bistro & Cafe @ Sunway Pyramid

While waiting for MIGF 2014 to commence, I decided to pop over at Borneo Rainforest Bistro & Café earlier for a quick grab, since it’s not like every day that I get to wander around leisurely at Sunway Pyramid. Imagine, all the way from Cheras? Hehe..

Since it had to be done in a jiffy, hence light and fast meal were more preferable.

So some greens as a starter.

THE LITTLE ISLANDER CEASAR SALAD (MYR 15.90)

This fresh vegetables are accompanied with chicken, eggs and finishing with some parmesan cheese and croutons.

Unfortunately, it appeared a  tad dismay to me as it was far too salty and pepperish at certain portion on the salad. Perhaps it should have been thoroughly mixed evenly so not to allow the coagulation on certain flavor enhancers at various part of the food.

MARGHERITA (MYR 21.90)

The pizza was good, pulled of decently with savoury tomato sauce, basil and mozzarella cheese. Cheese was abundant and that helps in sprucing up the dish even more. Best eaten while else you may risk having to bite on a slightly harden dough base.

After a simple grub on-the-go, soon headed to the media registration where I met along the other fellow bloggers and media participants too. It was indeed a celebrated gastronomy night of the year! For more info, please click here:
