It feels good to be back again at Capricciosa, after some numerous times of pleasant returns (both outlets at Pavillion and Sunway Pyramid), which I can’t recall exactly, but the food remain top-notch at truly an affordable price!

Before hitting Body Jam at gym, the tummy was unusually hungry and gnawing that day. Therefore, I decided to pop in this ristorante again, for a quick fill up but not too heavy. And I thought so, haha……………  (=

First to greet my noisy stomach, insalada!

Caesar Salad (MYR 10.90)

It’s the classic favorite loved by everyone. You can go with a topping of your choice, be it grilled chicken or grilled salmon. Being an ardent fan of fish, the latter is my pick indefinitely! (=

  

Meat was chunky and juicy, with a very light browned crisp skin that was loveable.

Rice Croquette (MYR 9.90)

Sicilian style fried rice ball stuffed with mozzarella cheese and served with signature homemade meat sauce.

Each grain is mildly coated with cream and has a soft and chewy consistency, which later got zest up with the savor meaty sauce

Comes to my favourite part, gelato e dolce!

Affogato (MYR 8.90)

Dessert to end one’s meal is a concept that’s completely not alien to many of us, albeit the fact that Capricciosa is founded by a Japanese chef; Masaki Honda. Customarily, this is a treat of a single shot of espresso with vanilla gelato, topped with whipped cream, caramel and chocolate sauce. Although it might not be extravagantly pull off to the  visual senses (like OLLE Cafe or Epicuro), it is acctually not too bad, considering the generous serving of the ice cream and decently drenched in chocolaty sweetness.

Soon,  it wrapped up the quick dinner scrumptiously before bidding goodbye to the friendly crews. And be sure on the lookout for my subsequent return……………………. (=
