LWIN LEE | INSPIRING KOREA: ♥ ♥ AUTUMN IN BUSAN ♥ ♥ Day 1_Part 2

Finally, i found some time to pen down my previous wonderful trip to Busan, after the first post some months ago, upon persistent longing of late, of the beautiful country when vacationing during the fall season. The delay was pretty much due to several unforeseen impromptu short getaways as well as attending review invitation  in between. However, guess October is still pretty much way ahead before we could actually enjoy a thorough colorful foliage of Mother Nature in the second largest city after Seoul.

After spending some good hours at the sandy beach of Haeundae, that coincidentally hosted the BFF 2014 event, we soon depart to Gwangan, in order to view the beautiful and famously known Diamond Bridge!

Still missing the sunny and happening atmosphere at Haeundae Beach though........

It's just some 10 minutes walk from the Gwangan subway;Gwanganhaebyeon-ro,  hence it's very convenient.

Directions:

Gwangan Station (Busan Subway Line 2), Exit 3 or 5.
Walk 10min towards Gwangalli Beach.

Address:

Busan-si Suyeong-gu Namcheon-dong ~ Haeundae-gu U-dong
부산 수영구 남천동 ~해운대구 우동

Ah, don't forget to grab some chocolate bar and classic latte to keep yourself warm, as the weather could get tad freezing and windy cold during the stroll when the daytime slowly fades away.

Here we are, eventually setting our footprints at Gwangan Bridge!

The scenery gets more vivid as the twilight starts taking a break from the day, while the nightfall slowly leaves the night crowds, intermittently illuminated by the majestic skyscrapers in the vicinity.

Such a beautifully splendid and tranquil stretch!

By just setting your sight leisurely on the brightly lit, glittering bridge of Gwangan, is already a very blissful moment to behold............... So Zen and relaxing!

Stunning Diamond Bridge illuminating the twilight.

After feasting on the gorgeous night scenery, it's time to pamper the gnawing tummy at that chilling night! It's always one of the happiest and anticipating moment in each travel for you get to experience the local delights and learn to appreciate the culture and value that come with each respective countries uniquely; in this case, Busan! Anyeonghaseyo! ^^

Jalmoget seumnida!!

So we give one of the popularly recommended restaurants by our guesthouse a try, which is known for its awesome grilled yellow eel. Trust me, it's unlike the usual grilled Japanese unagi that you have seen but nevertheless, equally promising!

Fresh Perilla leaves are already awaiting to be wrapped with the broiled eel soon!

Yellow eel- looks nothing much different from the normal eel we have seen, and they appear more mucous and salivary when  swimming in the aquarium. It gets pretty ticklish though, hehe...

The sajangnim who served us was actually very macho and good-looking! Chalsenggaseyo!!

While the pan is heating up, all of us are already anticipating some good food to treat our tummy. It's not helpful when the alluring aroma of the grilled eel starts wafting through the air while cooking, that drives us drooling more!

Finally, the food is ready and without further ado, all chopsticks and spoons are aready moving swiftly, haha. Jalmoget seumnida.........

Mianhe- please don't mind my sleepy look as i barely catch a wink the night before, haha. Geurondae- I still LOVE Korea very much and there would always be restored energy for dining time!!

Soon, sajangnim topped up some rice on top of the excess gravy from the grilled eel to cook up a delicious bokeumbap with lots of my fave seaweed!! Jinjja joaheyo!!

And what's a Korean meal without any soju right? So we called for a bottle to be shared among us. Albeit it's still kinda potent to me, a sip or two won't hurt i suppose, hehe.....

Before wrapping up the night, we thought it would be a good idea to sorta walk around the nearby LOTTE MAll, so to ease the digestion quickly from the scrumptious meal.

And guess what? We went back with more grubs to keep us entertained throughout the night, just in case our stomach go singing much quicker than expected! Haha.......

I have always love ulyu and pang all this while, haha......

Seriously, this sweet potato steamed cake was nothing than stellar! Give it a try whenever you're in the town and thou shall fathom. Double thumbs up!

Korean local delights- tteok or rice cake! For this flavour, i choose the filling of green bean and yellow bean. Great source of fibre intake right? Hehe....

Alright, would have to adjourn for a moment to make way for the pending posts of food reviews. Shall be back soon to share the remaining Busan travel experiences in another week or too. So till then, wish you guys many wondrous days ahead and please, please let yourselves loose this coming Lunar celebration and enjoy to the fullest!!

So, merci beaucoup, cheers and Carpe Diem!  ℒℴѵ
