So much so am a
real foodie from the bottom of my heart, I don’t usually fancy burger meals
much, but after visiting The Counter, I guess I started liking it further (=
Located at the
new Dining Loft, Level 7 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, The
Counter® has been titillating the discerning palates of epicurean near
and far with its premium ingredients that mostly oversea sourced with all
burgers are made from halal certified beef that is antibiotic-free with no
added hormones. Apart from that, diners get the liberty to custom build their
burger according to their personal preference without getting judged by anyone.

Similarly
to its California counterpart, The Counter’s® features its best-selling quality
ingredients set in a chic interior incorporating some vintage wooden elements
along with its lively embellishment. The restaurant boats a spacious
surrounding accentuated with warm lighting at one section, or you could go for
the corner near the huge pane, ceiling-high glass at the other nook for
bounteous natural lighting- which is perfect for any shutterbugs.
Whether
you order in or take out, the mouthwatering food will be served quickly without
compromising quality, flavor, and choice. You choose, they build, you enjoy. They
are literally built for you. Food are earnestly prepared under stringent emphasis
on ingredients freshness and quality, where all poultry is humanely raised and
handled, antibiotic- and hormone-free and sourced from halal certified
supplier, are what stands them out from its peers. Even expatriates are giving
them double thumbs up for being able to live up to the par by serving matching quality
of thoughtfully curated dishes that is truly great value for money.

encouraged to BUILD their OWN burger here. Should guest are unsure which to
decide on, they could easily flip through the menu for some ready-made
suggestion. Having said that, don’t you love surprises? Anticipating how your

here are in fact freshly made and delivered by the established Renaissance Hotel.
It’s been a constant and strong partnership all this while for the unwavering quality
in the bakeries that has since garnered approval affirmative from the chef at
its US headquarter. All breads are baked till perfection where the US maestro
himself compliments that the bread made
here is so much better than the one available in CA itself. Wow, kudos!

I heed the
recommendation to have my tuna done medium rare and it turns out surprisingly
good, if not better! For a person who oftens shun away from maguro, this
attempt is indeed very encouraging for my next gastronomy journey. I believe
this is largely due to the freshness and quality standard embraced by this establishment.

SWEET SRIRACHA FRIES AND PARMESAN FRIES
(MYR 18)
I have it 50-50.
Essentially started off with the base as shoestring fries, topped off with
different alluring toppings. The former came with sweet sriracha, sweet onions
and toasted sesame seeds while the latter is doused with parsley, rosemary and
roasted garlic aioli.
You could also have
this mixed with crispy onion rings too under the Snacks + Starter selection.
Up next is a
must-have whenever dining here.
THE MELTDOWN (MYR 26)
Sandwiching 100%
chicken meat (chicken breast to be exact) that is lightly marinated but terrifically
juicy and succulent. Later I was told that it has actually been cooked sous
vide way, no wonder it helps to retain all the juice within. Ma ma mia!
Some dessert for
the sweet tooth of course!
KEY LIME PIE (MYR 18)
Long time no see
old pal! Glad to have met it here as this piece of confectionery is hardly seen
nowadays. Velvet and mouthwatering in each scoop, although I don’t mind it to
be tad more piquant and zestier.
APPLE CRUMBLE (MYR18
Authentic recipe
crafted in French way. Each cube of apples are moist and bursting in juices,
that forms a delectable nuance with the buttered biscuit crumbles.
Wash it down with soft drink, iced tea, bottled water,
sparking water or shake.
CARAMEL JAVA MALT (MYR 16)
Coffee, caramel,
chocolate syrup and malt- certainly a perfect drink for both chocolate and
coffee lovers! Made with premium vanilla
ice cream and topped with whipped cream.
BEACH BLAST (MYR 16)
Hence, another
return for this awesomely fantastic American burger is definitely a must for
