Hayadon- a bright and clean Japanese restaurant that strives to
showcase their skill in creating donburi (a rice bowl topped with a variety of
dishes from wagyu beef to tempura vegetables) by the chefs behind the kitchen
who have since mastering the art of Japanese cuisine from the Land of the
Rising Sun
It first forays was
at Wisma Cosway, now Hayadon continues to lure more foodies nearby to try out their
latest outlet at Quill City Mall, Level
4. Adopting a quick-service concept while placing a priority on quality by only
using fresh produce ensures a well-rounded meal is provided to patrons
Furthermore, the
donburi could be customized to your needs, as in if you are currently on a diet
plan, you can then have your rice bowl to reduce carbo intake while indulge
more on veggies- ideal for ladies who wish to go on a light but healthy fibre-packed
lunch. You could have the choice of your Balanced dOn to come with either 50%
of 30% of rice, along with the wholesome bowl of appetizer (10% sauce) ,
protein (20 % meat), energy (50% or 30% rice) and metabolism (20% or
40% veggies).
Premium Sanuki udon
is served here while delighting the palate of diners with inhouse made sauces
too.
As usual, some
appetizers Japanese starters to kick of the meal, before we usher out the
mains. Each at MYR 3.90.

The skillfully sliced wagyu beef has got to be the main star-stealer for this dish. Not only each slices of meat is juicy and tender, the broth used for the udon noodle is so clear yet rich in flavour. Oishi!
DRY SPICY
CHICKEN EGG UDON (MYR 14.90 SET, MYR 12.90 ALA CARTE)
Looking at this homey dish once again conjures up the previous scrumptious dining at Sanuki Udon as well as Udon Ya-San.
Each silky strand of noodles is simply luscious to go with the onsen egg that breaks out liberally, kept your taste bud enchanted with its golden gooey flow, zestfully paired with spiced minced chicken meat.
TERIYAKI SALMON
DON (MYR 16.90 SET, MYR 14.90 ALA CARTE)
Fan of fish would definitely delight in this fragrantly grilled salmon fillet, tastefully glazed with savory teriyaki sauce. The addition of white sesame has further enhanced the overall aroma, yum yum!
SPICY CHICKEN

If i were to pick my personal favourite, then it'll have to go with this brilliantly done fried chicken mayo, albeit being tad spicy. The meat itself is thoroughly flavoured and fried till perfection, not drying the juiciness underneath the crunchy layer. When go with some mayonaisse, it's simply a bliss!
DON CURRY
CHICKEN (MYR 14.90 SET, MYR 12.90 ALA CARTE)
Eventually, the iconic Japanese curry staple wrapping up the feast.
Nicely breaded chicken breast remain succulent even after beind deep fried till
golden brown. It's definitely makes a good bowl of delicious combo when pairs
with fresh crisp greens and the quintessential Japanese curry gravy.
