M136 COFFEE HOUSE @ TAMAN MALURI, CHERAS
Apart from the recent new vegan place that we have discovered
nearby, another casual dining has also sprouted up in the vicinity of Cheras
Miharja as well, by the name of M136 Coffee House.
With tantalizing spread
inspired from modern European dining, the idea was conceptualized by the
affable chef who has vastly travelled and immersed in the culinary cultures of
Italy and Australia and finally brought them all back to his homeland in the
cozy and serene enclave of the coffee house, that is also a comfy unwinding
spot for guests of Hotel Sri Maluri.

M136 AMERICAN BREAKFAST (MYR 16.90)
Delish
spread of wholesome grubs to kick starts the day. What’s better than to have it
with homemade nutty hazelnut bread that is naturally fermented, lightly salted
button mushrooms, bacons, country-styled sausages and baked beans?
BUTTER CHICKEN- WITH RICE/ WEDGES (MYR 16.90)
Deep fried chicken with
light spicy butter sauce and served with fresh seasonal mixed veggies. Like how
the sauce is being done with pleasant consistency without being over cloying,
and those tender meats are encapsulated within a delightful crispy skin.
CREAMY SMOKED SALMON PASTA (MYR 16.90)
Creamy tomato pink sauce base
cooked with smoked salmon, onion and fresh basil. The overall taste tends to be
on lighter side for some as that’s how our usual Australian peers enjoyed their
plate of staple pasta, without much strong flavouring but with smidgen of
seasonings.
Special dishes that have just
rolled out are……………
Luscious slab of thick and succulent salmon fillet that is 70% cooked to retain its original sweetness.
MOZZARELLA PORK CHOP (MYR 23.90)
Twins of cordon bleu I believe, in this case is rolled with pork meat on the exterior. Would be great is it’s cheesier and juicier with the ham intact.
CHICAGO BEEF BURGER (MYR21.90)
This stack of alluring homemade juicy patty with crisp, fresh greens, zesty pickles, sandwiched within fluffy buns, are one not to be missed here.
Just in time to join the current crave for durian season, where The King of Fruits shows its prowess to all its disciples, hehe.
And of course some drinks to clear (or may be chow) down the throat before calling in the desserts! (=

DURIAN CHEESE CAKE (MYR12)
Every bite of the moist cheesecake is nothing short then mesmerizing and gratifying with the love-hate pungency of Musang King. So make hay while the sun shines!
CREAM BRÛLÉE (MYR12)
Available both in either original or durian flavor, using Musang King as well! It’s glorious but I suppose the latter variant might be a seasonal treat. So remember to stay tuned at their page for the latest menu updates!
