TRAVEL | 4D 3N SUPERSTAR LIBRA CRUISE

Before this, I use to have this thought that normally a short escapade to other places of interest would require certain amount of time and is geographically bounded, more often than not. Thus, nearer destinations such as uphill resort at Genting Highlands would seem much more feasible even as a road trip, in view of the shorter time duration.

Not until, the idea of cruising comes into the picture, embarking on a voyage that has since opened up the mind and widening le horizon with its vivid memory of the majestic vista of the ocean- even enjoying your High Tea the unparalleled way out in the middle of deep blue sea (=

This new deployment of homeports indeed came as a reason to rejoice especially to Klang Valley folks here, for now we no longer need to go through the hassle by going all the way to Penang in order to get on board the cruise as practiced previously. DAY 1 

As soon as we board on the cruise at Boustead Cruise Centre, Port Klang after the necessary immigration check point (where your passport would be collected), we were gathered at the lobby at Crystal Court at Deck 4 Mid for to get our cabin card access before heading to the crib for the next few days. On the cruise, Star Navigators (leaflet on daily cruise program) would be distributed to every room for the day’s activities reference. Cabin guests can then plan head which slot of activities they wish to participate or alight from cruise to explore the land during shorex docking for the cruise.

After checking in the room at Deck 6 which is Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom, we head over.....................

DAY 2

The shutterbug instinct then called for early rising the very next day in hope to catch the break of the day. However, seems like some thick clouds from the night before still missing the sun very much. Well, it might not be the perfect dawn but the peacefulness on the cruise with the pristine surrounding make it up back. I mean, it’s not an everyday thingy that you get to wake up from a cruise, in the middle of the sea to view the aurora right? Smitten!

Subsequently, we went on to Ocean Palace to revel in Chinese cuisine for breakfast. Even so, some lovely pastries and juices are also available for those who prefer fusion in their diet. 

After filling up the tummy, we proceed to the much awaited slot- Bridge Tour where it’s a rare moment that you get to meet and greet the sailing master behind the cruise; Captain and Officer.

DAY 3

And coming to third day, still trying our luck for the first light of the day, but again, the sun seems shy still, lol.

Subsequently, we decided to adjourn it for a quick splash- jacuzzi and outdoor swimming pool, before kicked off the day with Western breakfast at Four Seasons Restaurant, Deck 4 Mid.

Up next was the Galley tour when you can witness how the food are prepared on cruise without any flame- only electrically, as any sparks is utmost risk to any cruise. And yet, the food came out delicious and well marinated too. So get ready to be amazed!

DAY 4

Here comes the fourth day, with a nice weather for us to embrace it on the last day. After some quick breakie, we then started to pack our belongings before checking out soon.

Of course, sumptuous lunch awaiting us at Ocean Palace so that every one goes home with a happy tummy full of unforgettable memory.
