MONTE’S SPECIAL FRIED CHICKEN WITH MOËT & CHANDON BRUT IMPÉRIAL

Those drumsticks remain tender and juicy within, despite crisply fried till golden brown with chef’s special recipe on the skin outside. Marinade done just nice, meats stays succulent and not too oily- the perfect combo with a few tipples of Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial!

Newly onboard together with the indulgent champagne brunch are also some of the newly introduced creations to offer diners more selection and to spoil them toothsomely.

WAFFLE BEEF BURGER WITH CHEESE WEDGES (MYR 38)

Fluffy waffles sandwiching well-texturized beef patty and served with cheesy wedges.

CHEESEBOMB FISH BURGER IN TUMERIC CREAM AND FRENCH FRIES (MYR 35)

Already an alluring sight on itself, this is a special burger where it’s lusciously doused with tempting golden turmeric cream, giving the burger a little bit of moisture and taste to the juicy perch fillet sandwiched in between two layers of buns. And you thought it is cheesy gravy don’t you? (=

CORNED BEEF SCOTCH EGG WITH SALAD AND GRAVY (MYR 38)

What initially seems to me as a croquette is actually corned beef hash, brilliantly infused into Scotch egg recipe, giving it a surprise, yummy treat to both adults and kids.

To some who is new to corned beef, it’s actually a salt-cured beef product whereas a Scotch egg is traditionally a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried. Somehow this reminds me of the lunar Chinese dish- Deep Fried Phoenix Ball which comes with salted egg yolk stuffed inside a deep fried meatball.

Sorry if I’m leading you to more sinful yummy thoughts, hehe.

SLOW BRAISED BEEF TENDON ON FETTUCINE TOPPED WITH MELTED CHEESE (MYR 38)

For pasta lovers, you certainly will delight in this plate of slurpy fettucine added with tantalizing beef tendon as a bonus. It had since gained approval from guests around the table.

ESCARGOTS (MYR 28- HALF DOZEN)

Monte’s signature escargot baked in creamy Chablis and garlic sauce. Seriously, this is so garlicky-kicking good! No wonder it’s the signature appetizer here.

CHEESY WEDGES WITH CHINVES (MYR 15)

Best of both worlds for cheese and potato lovers like me!

CHEESY NACHOS (MYR 23- Chicken | MYR 25- Beef)

All time favourite plateful of nachos with melted cheddar cheese on crispy corn tortilla chips. I can have these cutesy ‘mini pizzas’ all over again, anytime, anywhere as they are really nice and addictive!

FRESH OXTAIL (MYR 23)

Nothing better than to describe it earnestly this way; thick, savoury, hot and spicy broth to blow your mind and tickle your palate amusingly. It was really good, I must say, as I find myself going for several helpings after the first sip, thumbs up!

Not forgetting some serious sweet indulgence to end the feast on a sweet note!

Salted Caramel Cookie Cake and Nutella Chocolate Cake at MYR 18 each.

Personally, love the former one dearly!
