Imbuing an ambiance of élan affair over at the latest highland mall of SkyAvenue, is where Aged Restaurant & Bar currently greeting guests from all around the world who travel up to the uphill resorts to catch a glimpse of the latest expansion of this iconic spot that has undergone a mega transformation since early this year as well as to immerse in the chilling atmosphere of the pristine highland.

Somewhat exclusively juxtaposing with the rest of the other F&B chains, Aged Restaurant & Bar stands out captivatingly alluring and certainly raises the bar higher when it comes to dainty gastronomy with its exquisite culinary creation fusing the modern dining with evergreen, time-tested recipes.

Having called Sky Avenue at Resorts World Genting as their maiden home, this charming restaurant (perhaps potentially a lovely tavern too) embark with both taste and visual delights, whereby it houses an enchantingly huge well cellar stylishly equipped with a spotless steel roller harmoniously coordinated in muted natural hues, to assist you with wine selections at the upper rack (of course it would be warmly assisted by its friendly crew), as you dine in and still couldn’t make up your mind of which bottle to go with the food pairing.

I personally love wooden furniture for the aesthetic vintage touch that they exude- and they can never be out of fashion. They are simply minimalist, comfortable and practical but by no means plush. (=

Now let’s shift back the focus to its sumptuously elaborated course that are temptingly waiting to be discovered and amuse your tastebuds.


Caesar Salad (MYR 32)
Anchovies, Iberico Ham 24 months, Cured Yolk

Foie Gras (MYR 78)
Apple Raisins, Choc Balsamic Sauce, Balsamic Pearl, Lime Jelly

I reckon that the foie gras is nicely done to perfection- comes with a smooth mouthfeel in a slightly caramelized exterior, accompanied by a refreshing kick from the choc balsamic pearls, whereas the salad is lovably crisp and well composed tastefully.


Chicken Breast (MYR 66)
Mushroom Sauce, Polenta, Apricot, Honey Carrot Puree

Moist and juicy sous vide chicken breast 

  Pork Rack (MYR 76)
Pineapple Salsa, Honey Carrot Puree, Avocado

An interesting twist to the usual tomato-based salsa to the pork rack delicately crowned with paprika-dusted espuma. I am a salsa relish lover by the way! (=

Escargot (MYR 56)
Risotto, Piquillo, Olive, Parsley Butter

Salmon (MYR 76)
Chorizo, Aioli, Squid Ink Couscous, Ikura, Sago Cracker 

Tomahawk (MYR 350/ kg)
Australian Angus, Mashed Potato, Fries


This priced Australian Angus has been aged for 20 days for thorough flavor immersion throughout the meat while surrounded by salt blocks; just like how the well-guarded traditional recipe works that dictates passion and time.

Succulent rib-eye is then served after French-trimmed from the long bone by Chef Jeff.


Crème Caramel (MYR 32)
Kogiku Flower, Balsamic Pearl

Dainty piece of milky sweet, pairs really good with the cracking crispy nutty tuile.

Lemon Tart (MYR 32)
Meringue, Jackfruit Ice Cream

Pssst……. some friendly caveat- this homemade ice cream is terrifically awesome!!
You’re bound to 99% (if not 100%) to ask for more after one bites. Do not leave without trying the cleverly done Jackfruit Ice Cream!
So divine and velvety, whetting the palate satisfyingly away onto cloud nine..……..

They must be accompanied by an adult dining in the restaurant and this lovely treat is available every day from 12pm to 6pm.

In a nutshell, my tummy was really impressed and pleased over the pampering feast passionately calibrated by the team here at AGED. Both visual and taste buds are well-treated under the good hands of the kitchen maestro together with its attentive service crew; ultimately rendering us memorable dining experience to be cherished. Looking forward to another return for sure- after this sweet tooth lass was love-struck by its moreish desserts! (=
