So finally we got back to our much deserved break at the much anticipated crib at Hermitage Hotel, after the magnificent glacier exploration some hours earlier.

I’m one of those foodie who besides enjoying feasting my sight on gargantuan of repast assortment, also revel in the splendiferous creation of our Mother Nature, especially those within merely few steps walking away to the balcony.

So any room with great sea view, beach view, highland view or in this case, resplendent mountain view definitely comes irresistibly beckoning! I could easily spend the day treasuring the superb vista while slowly sipping a hot cup of joe.

To me, that’s the true luxury of life that anyone could ask for!

Those zen moment is utterly priceless!

The room was comfy for 2 guests, soft, comfortable King bed with cozy couch, not forgetting their lovely restroom that is thoughtfully equipped with sufficient showers and toiletries, as well as its complimentary beverages for its staying guests. Instantly in awe with its abundant natural lights that warms us up, despite the single digit temperature, so yeah- it’s actually freaking cold that time and the temperature drops further as the night took over.

Before we call it a day of activities, we walked around to catch a glimpse of the beautiful accommodation, before stumbled upon the enchanting glass house design of Snowline Lounge and Sir Edmund Hillary Cafe the very next day before we checked out heading back to Queenstown. But for now, let’s head over to a quaint restaurant nearby for a toothsome ending for the night at The Old Mountaineers Cafe Bar & Restaurant, located just some light strolls from The Hermitage Hotel.
