FRENCHMANS BAY & MIDDLETON BEACH @ ALBANY, PERTH

It was already passed 4pm the moment we checked in the dreamy castle-like crib of Albany Bayview Lodge YHA. Therefore, after dropping the bigger luggage in the room, we head out again to any nearby scenic places before the night takes over.

We drove and drove, end up at somewhere which we believed was partially the shore of Frenchman Bay. That early evening had our eyes feast on lush piece of long grasses of weeds (seems legit so to the bear eyes), lightly showered with the rays of calming dusk and a splendid ocean laid upon it. It was a tranquil moment to behold indeed.

Some enchantingly white and spacious private property situated across the lush.

After some quick photos and selfie, it’s time to make a move to the next spot, of which we later learnt as the part of the spread out Middleton Beach. By the way, now only I found out that Middleton Beach which was named after Captain Middleton in 1934, the respected figure is actually an ancestor of Kate Middleton who now is married to Prince William and proud mother of Prince George, wow!

White and soft sandy beach for swim, snorkel or just chill and relax enjoying the spectacular ocean views.

Just briefly 15 minutes to 6pm, true enough the sky at the beach was getting darker and gloomier in anticipation for twilight. As we were still new to the region, guess it’s better to depart while there was still some glimpse of light before the night curtain of the horizon rolled down. So let’s go fill up the tummy with some yummy local staple- Fish and Chips of course, only at Ocean & Paddock!
