STARGAZING & COZY STAY @ SPENCER PARK, ALBANY, PERTH

A year has passed since my last maiden attempt to catch some stargazing moment in New Zealand in the same month last year. Comparatively, this year of escapade to Albany has proven to be a more fruitful, where stars are abundant, with the perfect pitch dark environment as well as a comfortable stay at the beautiful neighbourhood of Spencer Park in Albany.

To be honest, Albany is really a beautiful and peaceful town where life is happy and contented as it is, revolving around the importance of living at the present. It is mesmerizingly surrounded by the pristine, vast blue ocean that is naturally comforting, thanks to its strategic location that is near to the coastal line of Great Southern Ocean which provides an instinctually serene respite to anyone who has the chance to visit this township of West Australia.

So for the second day in Albany, we had chosen an aesthetic airbnb home stay located at Spencer Park, after the first night at YHA Albany after a rather long journey all the way from Perth passing by Williams.

After a nice meal at Emu Point, we checked into this groovy brick house and were warmly welcomed by the hospitable Mr. Murray, who then directed us to our lovely room.

And there is a lill’ cute Teddy waiting for us on the neatly arranged bed!

Awwww……….ain’t those plushies too adorable not to be hugged? (=

It was a comfy little room just nice for two with plenteous of natural lights brimming liberally from the side wide pane window.

Love how the house was cordially graced and maintained with love. On top of that, the living room was brightly illuminated by the see through glass house design that certainly astounded me, for I really, really love any architecture that comes with ample glassy design and yearn to have one. Of course, that comes with more maintenance and extra care too. How I wish……………………….

The washrooms were really clean!

After a quick moment of glancing the house and be amazed at its dandy interior, we quickly head out for The Gap and Natural Bridge before sunset and subsequently followed by dinner nearby at Rustler’s Steakhouse and Grill.

The evening flew by rather fast before we realized it’s about time to make our way back home to Spencer’s Park to try on stargazing, hehe.

Oh, before diving into dreamland, these are the sweet darlings we got from the brisk Albany Farmer’s Market earlier on.

And we’re already anticipating the hearty breakfast that’s going to be prepared by the genial Mr. Murray who was very heedful that he actually asked us the day before to share him the breakie menu that we preferred to have the very next morning. Thank you so much Mr. Murray!

Look how professionally and warmth-diffusing it was from this spread! I’m pretty sure you could feel that too despite visually. It’s prepared by a caring father and a loving hubby!

After relishing in the wholesome spread, we bid adieu to Mr. Murray before heading to Denmark to meet my friend, Steve from Rockcliffe Winery! Praying for the good weather throughout our journey then………………

Since it's a private residence under airbnb, guess it's tad inappropriate to share the address here publicly for privacy reason. Should you wish to know the exact unit of this pleasant stay and would like to experience yourself, feel free to reach me via email and i would be glad to assist.

Cheers for now and follow us at Carpe Diem for more ‘food-ful’ discoveries! ❤ℒℴѵℯ❤

And our travel journey continues....................
