IBERICO FEAST @ NAUGHTY NURI’S, ATRIA SHOPPING GALLERY

First opening its doors in Malaysia back in December 2014 at Desa Sri Hartamas with a seating capacity of 240 people, Naughty Nuri’s has now expanded to another 3 more outlets respectively in Subang SS15 Courtyard, Life Centre (KL) and Atria Shopping Gallery- thanks to its ever-in-demand luscious fork-off juicy ribs that are well-loved by pork lovers of Klang Valley.

The secret to Naughty Nuri’s success lies in its mouthwatering pork ribs whereby they are flavorfully steeped in Balinese spices and a robust savoury sauce call ‘Naughty sauce’ that works wonderfully good on the palate. In 2018, it has also acquired multiple awards in the Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards (HAPA) for its ‘oinksome’ menu.

The porky specialist originally from Ubud, Bali, has recently introduced a new range of fête, particularly in Iberico extravaganza whereby several mouthwatering Iberico-themed new dishes have been specially crafted to titillate your taste buds amusingly.

Sizzling Iberico Belly (MYR 28-150g)

Naughty Nuri’s very own homemade chef specialty pork belly served on a 310°C hot plate with caramelized onion, capsicum and drizzled with Asian special homemade sauce. Foodies who always enjoy the melting-in-the-mouth of that porky gelatin layer should not give this a miss.

Grilled Iberico Skewers (Small- 3 sticks, MYR 20 | Large- 6 sticks, MYR 30)

BBQ Iberico sate infused with signature pandan marinade and grilled to perfection.

The proportion of fatty and lean meat was lovely, rendering a much more exciting texture compared to those conventional satay.

Flaming Iberico Ribs  (MYR 49- 300g)

Specially marinated ribs with Balinese spices and dipped in signature sauce before chargrilled to perfection and flambeau with sambuca for flavour enhancement. As the ribs is one of the main signature, certainly your do not want to leave without giving it a bite (or two most likely) ^_^

Iberico Burger (MYR 32)

Housemade burger patty served on a bed of salad with slices of juicy tomatoes, streaky pork bacon and topped with melted cheddar-mozzarella cheese, drizzled with BBQ sauce with fries as side.

Personally, I find myself attuned to this earnest patty more for its juiciness and texturized aspect in each bite. Unlike those which is sourced from readymade patty, this Iberico patty is beautifully fused and that I can be sure of enjoying real food, non-processed.

For those who prefer less meaty, you may also go for the flavourful spiced soup or porky salad too.

Balinese Soup Tulang (MYR 24.80)

I’m usually not a person who fancy strong flavor in my soup broth- but this was exceptional in convincing me. Served piping hot in the claypot with generous portion of the meat, it makes a good companion to bowl of white rice actually, for the robust flavor of the soup that is toothsomely filled with various spices that really brings out the overall flavor. It’s mild spicy but very fragrant that after a sip, you are bound to help yourself more (=

Naughty Porky Salad (MYR 25)

Food enthusiast who is conscious over diet but is yearning for some cheat meal, then this plate of porky salad would ideally fix your craving. Drizzled with red dragon fruit sauce with some zesty juice of citrus, it lends some comforting and moisturizing tune to the porky stripes that have been dried and make into floss-like bites, interesting.
