ORIENTAL STAR 港城酒家 SPECIAL GOURMET SET @ EKOCHERAS MALL
Since the establishment of its first restaurant in 2000, Oriental
Group has long been recognized for its fine Cantonese cuisine in creating a
different dimension for the culturally rich traditional Chinese fare. The group
has now grown into a reputable premier Chinese restaurant group in Malaysia and
to date, the brand already has 12 restaurants under its name.
In addition to that, by January 2019, the group will be expanding to
another four locations including the group’s first international opening, Yu
Kitchen at Chadstone Shopping Centre,
Melbourne,
Australia, besides another latest addition to the local family here last
October 2018, YU御 by
Ruyi which is currently located at Gardens Mall.
And just a couple of weeks ago, Oriental Group has widened its
empire towards the community of Cheras with its latest venture, shining
brightly under the auspicious name of ORIENTAL
STAR 港城酒家, over here at EkoCheras Mall, a newly opened mall in the
neighbourhood. This outlet is touted to be one of the largest and most modern
banquet hall in Klang Valley that caters for various dining and events
reservation.
Securing a spacious enclave on the
second floor, this restaurant is vibrantly designed with rhythmic neon lights
on the ceiling top, besides its usual grandeur setting within carpeted floor
and banquet dining style. Guests can expect to savour from varieties of
mouthwatering Oriental cuisines ranging from dim sum and barbecued dishes in
this restaurant which accommodates up to 950 pax at its first Cheras-based locale expansion that comes with state-of-the-art
equipment, and a pillarless ballroom for an unparalleled dining experience.
In conjunction with this auspicious occasion, Oriental Group has crafted
a special gourmet set to commemorate this moment as well as to tickle the taste
buds of its loyal fans amusingly and toothsomely too.
So we started off with some true blue Teochew recipes that is
simply wonderful and homey to the tummy, before moving on to the rest of the
mains and some signatures from this establishment.
