D'COCONUT VILLA LANGKAWI@ LANGKAWI

This year July has been rather hectic indeed with constant traveling like almost each weekend, we would end up at different states of the country- but thankfully, it’s still a fruitful one =)

As a matter of fact, I really look forward to share the experience and can’t wait to pen down all the pleasant serendipity that we’re blessed with throughout the journey. Since Langkawi was our last pitstop of that month’s jaunt, hence decided to why not begin the travel diary with the lovely staycation at D'coconut Villa Langkawi first? Then subsequently followed by Seremban, Hatyai, Bangkok and so on and so forth.
And yeah, all impromptu well-travelled in the same month without much pre-planned itinerary, not quite my style actually but I just went with the flow nevertheless (=

This villa is a beach-front boutique retreat on the west of Langkawi Island, which has actually just undergone refurbishment to provide better accommodation experience to its guests. With the latest facelift, interior of the rooms have been enhanced with modern and chic fixtures and designs that will lend some aesthetic vibes to its guests, besides panoramic views of the Andaman Sea and Gunung Mat Cincang in the vicinity.
Not to mention, it is very near to the airport about 3.4 km or 10 minutes’ away, which makes this villa a prime selection for those looking for a relaxing escapade from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The villa provides express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a garden too. Besides that, the hotel offers a free airport shuttle service as well.
Having said that, it’s just some 15 minutes’ away from the town centre where the famous spot Pantai Cenang is located. So the idea of having a rented car to go around would be perfect in this case, at just about MYR 80 per day, quite a good bargain I would say. And that’s good enough for us to go around sight-seeing up to the iconic Langkawi Skybridge Cable, Datai, Pantai Pasir Tengkorak, Tanjung Rhu apart from Kuah town and some surrounding neighbourhood as well. Basically, we sort of travelled along the coastal routes (=
Over here at D'coconut Villa Langkawi, there are two types of accommodation choices whereby guest can opt for Villa Sea View or Villa with a Pool view. Each unit has its own decent compound that is separated from each other for that thoughtful privacy.
 By Pool View
Each room comes with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom while guest rooms at the hotel are equipped with a seating area and terrace.

 HOTEL BREAKFAST MENU
Decent breakfast selection is available, with the options to have it at your room or served by the beach. For someone who always adore the days by the serene beach, the latter option would definitely be more tempting naturally, hehe.
Breakfast in Room

Thankful and glad that we were blessed with welcoming weather and beautiful day. The sight of the greenery against the zen background of the blue ocean and azure sky further help to relax any weary souls, bliss!

MUNTAHA ARABIC RESTAURANT
On top of that, there is an inhouse Arabic restaurant at this villa that usually operates at night for dinner, serving authentic Arabian flair that displays the cuisine uniqueness. It was a lovely dining session at Muntaha Arabic Restaurant perfected with attentive and amiable customer service, despite some dishes might be an acquired taste to some.
As for the interior, it was surprisingly windy and we can’t help but find it very soothing as the cool breeze came brushing by our cheeks as we savoured the toothsome Arabian spread. In fact, the portion was rather huge and perfect for sharing. Also, I love how freely the silky curtain flew and beckoning to the visual sense whenever the gush of wind visited the space.

Enjoyed from Motabbal , Mixed Kebab of Chicken and Lamb, Biryani Chicken, Biryani Lamb and clear the throat with refreshing Orange Juice that was freshly squeezed. We had it without sugar and the beverage by itself was refreshingly thirst-quenching.

All set within a cozy and rustic space of an aesthetic wooden interior.
SUNSET SEAFOOD BARBEQUE
Or……………. If you are keen to bath in with more sea breeze and nearer to Mother Nature, then you may opt for Sunset Seafood Barbeque by the beach in the evening too. We personally enjoyed it and find it rather intimate with a cooling al fresco setting, where we could enjoy our own companion while gazing the lovely day slowly changing shift from violet twilight to a peaceful evening.
For those hoping to venture more around in the city, you guys are in luck as D'coconut Villa Langkawi shares close proximity to Pantai Cenang.
Pantai Cenang is a favorite location for many visitors as it is well known for its stunning beach, shopping, entertainment and beach activities. In addition, this destination has a number of popular local seafood restaurants and is famous for its nightlife activities too.
Other relatively interesting place to drop by includes Underwater World Langkawi which is 7 km away, while Mahsuri Mausoleum is reachable about 10 km away and The Rice Museum within 5 km radius. Or drop by another enchanting enclave at Resort World Langkawi, which we visited almost 3 years ago.

As for our leisure escapade, we actually went to several popular spots for food as well as sight-seeing that includes Langkawi Sky Bridge which is touted as the longest free span and curved bridge in the world, which we shall share in details after this, once we found the time- and will definitely recommend some great places perfect for chill out or snacking by the beach. Till then, stay tuned!

  1. Never been to any blog that is so precise and descriptive. This is beautiful. I had been to Langkawi once after reserving my stay in Ambong Pool Villas and it went awesome. Visited different beautiful places, enjoyed the private pool villas, had local foods, etc. This post is touchy for me.
