POSH COFFEE ROASTERY @ KEPONG

 

It’s been awhile since we explored café eateries in the vicinity of Kepong. Certainly would love to see more of such indie cafes sprouting up soon in the neighbourhood such as BEAM.

It was a random quick pitstop when we stumbled upon this rustic café one evening. The setting was pretty aesthetic which revolves around industrial theme with cozy interior ambience.

We were first-timer to Posh, so we went for the house signature dishes in the menu with some hot tea to complete with.

POSH Royale (MYR 32)

Brioche, Torched Salmon, Eggs, Greens, Cherry Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Hollandaise Sauce, Edible Micro Greens, Flowers and Gold Leaf

As swanky as its name depicts, the egg benedict is crowned with dainty morsel of Gold Leaf amidst the bed of greens. Personally l love the brioche bun which was buttery and fluffy at the same time. Wild mushrooms was nicely sautéed till fragrant before paired with the runny egg Benedicts.

Pesto (MYR 28)

Pasta, Garlic, Olive Oil, Pesto paste and Micro Herbs

An all-time pesto lover myself, I enjoyed this greeny plate of hearty pasta that had been fragrantly cooked al dente with aromatic herbs and also my fave ingredients- mushrooms! The pasta was already flavourful by itself and the herby paste wasn’t too heavy, so it should go well with general palate.

With some soothing cuppa to clear the throat before our movie time.

Osmanthus and Peach Green Sencha; hot tea at MYR 9 each.

Overall, the food presentation here was beautifully executed with the right taste bud. And I noticed that lots of edible flowers were used part of the garnishment here that I personally found it pretty amusing as they remind me of refined French culinary art.
