FISH & CHIPS by BIG FISH SMALL FISH @ ONE UTAMA SHOPPING CENTRE

 

As far as a good plate of Fish n’ Chip is concerned, only a handful of local establishments that come into the picture such as Cor Blimey and  Harry & Ramsden in Resorts World Genting,

The place that had garnered my first love over this dish was tad far in both New Zealand and Australia, at Erik’s Fish & Chips in Queenstown and Ocean & Paddock in Albany respectively. Every now and then, I do have that hankering of another return to those beautiful countries, so yeah, let’s plan it out!

Anyway, glad to have stumbled upon yet another noteworthy Fish N Chips grubs at Big Fish Small Fish located at 1 Utama Shopping Mall. We happened to come across it during our casual outing one lazy weekend when looking for some quick place for lunch.

 In fact, what amazed me first and foremost was its wide array of sauce. This certainly come very appealing as then I could choose few of my favourite dips and yet not get bored after few rounds of the same relish. Those sauces were free flow by the way, so please enjoy it moderately.

We were pretty confused initially as how to order from the menu so we missed the house special Fresh Potato Crisps. Eventually we just went for the Classic Fish & Chips and we opt for Hake and Hoki, to be paired with sides such as mint mushy peas, buttered corn, BBQ mixed beans and mashed potato.

It was a fuss-free noshing in a jiffy with lovely choices of sauces. Fish was chunky fresh and batter not overly thick. Not too bad overall and I look forward to trying out their freshly made inhouse chips soon.
