TAKA JAPANESE CUISINE @ PERTH CBD
Soon after driving an hour plus from Fremantle, we reached Perth CBD
finally. It was a totally perspective per se- as expected since it’s the major
city. We then drove to Leederville to check in before heading back to CBD to
return the car and some grubs too.
Prior flying to Perth, I had heard from an acquaintance of a
popular Japanese restaurant here named Taka’s Kitchen at Barrack Street. Since
we had been literally fasting on Asian fares since our arrival here, I guess no
harm giving it a try then.
A wide variety of Japanese cuisines like teriyaki chicken
and tempura to sushi were available and all made fresh on the premise. Decent
space and conjures the vibes of a fast food sushi scene.
Ramen Noodles (AUD 10.20)
Thin egg noodle soup served with chicken, boiled egg and
seaweed. Choice of Chicken, Corn or Kaarage.
( I was hoping to come across some
juicily deep fried tonkatsu though. Guess the plan shall be put off then)
Combination of nigiri sushi and California rolls, served
with miso soup.
But somehow the California roll was missing, hmmmm………

As for desserts, I went for a casual stroll and just tried
some shops randomly (=
Bumped into a rather groovy gelataria with dark blue neons.
After a quick consideration, I went for 2 scoops cone at AUD
8, otherwise single scoop at AUD 5
Lavender & Honeycomb with Roast Macadamia & White
Choc Crisp
Indulgent and milky to my liking.

Subsequently, I had the third scoop from Gelare upon passing
by thereafter.
Thence, enjoying my third scoop soon after clearing my 2
scoops from Chicho moments ago, hehe.
Single scoop of Rum & Raisin for cup at AUD 4.80
When it comes to ice cream, I have no doubts on the quantity
that my tummy can accommodate.

As the saying goes, “There is always an extra stomach for
desserts”, right? ^^
Comparatively, I prefer Chicho gelateria for the richer and
creamier consistency.
After fixing the sweet tooth craving, finally it’s time for
us to call it a day and aim for a good slumber at the cozy crib located
strategically in Leederville.
And our travel journey continues.............
