THE HUB COFFEE ROASTERS @ TAMAN OVERSEAS UNION (OUG), KUALA LUMPUR

  

I have long heard of this artisanal coffee roaster which i usually seen and tasted them at other cafes that sought beans from them. Glad that finally able to visit the shop itself The Hub Coffee Roasters, located at OUG- no joke, it’s brimming with crowds and we had to wait awhile before getting a table.

The café was indeed tad small, thus only could accommodate a certain number of customers at one time. Menu for single origin beans selections available on that day was artistically displayed on the wall chalkboard menu. It’s totally a WOW to me for this was the only place I have seen so far bearing such wide varieties for hand pour coffee at single time.

So we went ahead for a quick fix of V60 cuppa alongside with a light tea-themed dessert.

  

Earl Grey Millie Crepe (MYR 20)

Costa Rica Mozart (Natural) MYR 12

It comes with dainty floral, berries, honey and winey notes.

Columbia Freshno Java (Anaerobic Natural) MYR 20

This gotta be my first time trying out anaerobic natural process beans. Surprisingly, my taste buds were greeted by rather bright and rich fruity profile notes. Quite a good try.

It was another relaxing tea time for a good cup of java before heading to our next gathering at Nguyen’s for some delightful Vietnamese and Thai food. Hence, looking forward to be back again soon!
