TASTE SEOUL GOOD @ GAMI CHICKEN, KUALA LUMPUR

 It’s been some time since I last stumbled upon convincingly tantalizing Korean fried chicken in Klang Valley- apart from my usual joint for the pioneer that is well known for its honey fried chicken. Anyway, till I found Gami Chicken which is much more accessible to me, not to mention its relatively generous portion and also located at my favourite place- Pavilion KL!

 

Gami Chicken is a sensational fried chicken joint which started off in Australia and have now arrived in Malaysia to dish out some GAMI-licious chicken, making everyone oh so happy. Currently located at Level 1 of the brisk Pavilion Shopping Mall, it’s a place to be for authentic, delicious, and savoury Korean Fried Chicken which comes with awesome sauces for dipping too, of course!

 

 

Why does the fried chicken here taste “seoul” good?

Gami’s fried chicken is all about originality and authenticity, whereby it is made from scratch and fresh every day using premium ingredients and recipes that have so far kept friendships and laughter going on for decades.

 

Passion Lemonade and Cherry Cola (MYR 12 each)

 

Potato Heaven (MYR 19)

House signature dish served in layers of creamy mashed potato, mozzarella cheese and topped off with wedges and sour cream, yummy!!!

 

And this gotta be my favourite of all!

 

Teok Bok Ki (MYR 23)

Spicy Korean gourmet noodles served with rice cakes, fish cakes and vegetables. If you wish to add mozzarella cheese, just top up MYR 6.

 

 

Time for the much anticipating Fried Chicken series!

All fried chicken dishes are  served with green salad and pickled radish. Guests can pick from 4 types of flavours namely Original Fried, Sweet Chili, Soy Garlic and Spicy. All the sauces may be served on the side or coated on the fried meat.

Chicken breast and thigh fillets with 2 choices of flavours

 

 

Gami Wings 8pc (MYR 20)

Chicken wings and drumettes with Sweet Chili Sauce and Spicy

 

 

Along with the finest of traditional flavors, Gami Chicken also houses some of the most egg-cited staff members who are always eager and happy to serve you as their ultimate goal is to ensure you have the best at GAMI.

Also don’t forget that cooling and crisp Dongchimi!! It’s akin to Korean version of palate cleanser I reckon.

Overall, it has been a lovely dining experience at Gami Chicken- which now at least, allows that many Korean trips memories of mine conjures up when most of us are now unable to travel abroad due to global pandemic.
