PARK’S BAGELS @ TROPICANA GARDENS MALL

It was indeed a pleasant encounter to have found a decent place for earnest bakes of bagels.

If it wasn’t the random plan to stop by this mall, I would not have come across Park’s Bagels which offers a lovely selection of bagels.

Those bagels seem to be freshly baked everyday with amazingly assorted tempting cream cheese flavours to pair with too.

 

As first timer to this cafe, I went for their Set B (MYR 19) which consists of 1 bagel with cream cheese filling of your choice, completed by a cup of Americano, hot or iced.

 

I choose the Spring Onion Cream Cheese for my Garlic Bagel.

 

To my surprise, the cream cheese isn’t that overly cloying but done at the right creaminess and consistency. It’s very velvet and melt-in-your-mouth kind of palate. The spring onion could be tad pungent to some people but it’s fine with me and this combo does go really well.

 

The taste of this bagel together with cream onion filling does share a very close resemblance to the currently very hit Korean pastries- Korean Onion Cream Cheese Bun. Masshiyo! Hope to be back soon for other bagel flavour!
