UNDERWOOD BAKER'S RESTAURANT & COFFEE @ BUKIT BINTANG

So another new pastry house has graced the neighbourhood of Golden Triangle, offering freshly baked pastries and loaves on top of savoury brunch apart from the usual gastro-pub-inundated territory of Changkat Bukit Bintang.

It’s actually quite a delight for it’s very accessible from the city centre, offering decent menu spread for pastry lovers or city folks alike seeking for some chilling spot for a cuppa or two. Due to the pandemic, many café hopping stint of mine has been significantly reduced in order to avoid unnecessary risks and also complying the SOPs.

 

And because of that also didn’t realize some comely cafes has actually sprung up around Bukit Bintang area, offering a great alternative for foodie who doesn’t wish to travel further to Petaling Jaya area-which is also widely known for its smorgasbord of indie cafés, extending more unfeigned culinary aesthetic.

 

UNDERWOOD Baker's Restaurant & Coffee is actually situated some stones throw’s away from Bijan, or some 8 minutes’ stroll from Bukit Bintang MRT (Exit A).

 

Interior design is kept on the minimalist side with al fresco setting greeting customers who enjoy breezy patio dining.

 

The space was casual and rather huge, so feel free to choose your fave spot.

If you are here by 10am on weekdays, the café is also offering a Breakfast Mix Set at only MYR 15 from selected choice of pastries and coffee.

 

 

One thing good about café hopping within the urban township is that oftentimes it’s reasonably nearby public transport (just some short walking will do) and that allows you to also visit any nearby café of your interest during the same outing day. It saves time and also reduces risk exposure from several travels in view of current omicron cases that are still arising day by day. Hence plan your trip ahead while indulge in your occasional me-time, for that I’ll try to make it on weekday if possible- at least for now (=
