CREAM COFFEE STAND @ JALAN RAJA CHULAN, KUALA LUMPUR
After a
quick visit to Underwood Baker,
just recalled that there also has been a new café addition to the Golden
Triangle vicinity. Hence before running my errands, decided to stop by a jiffy
to get a taste of the coffee.
I have
actually heard of Cream café before this. It’s just that I have yet to pay a
visit as it’s quite a distance from its location in Petaling Jaya. Anyway, glad
to have found its outpost now which is much nearer to me, yippie!
As I just
had first round of breakie at the former place, so settled down with its house blend
Milk Killer of Honduras and Brazil from The Roast Things. Although the café was
pretty simple and minimalist in its setup, they do serve some pastries like
croissant and bagels to go with your beverage.
Black
(MYR 8)
I must
say that I usually don’t really enjoy espresso-based Black, but my palette was
enticed by the batch brew done here. Unlike the usual cuppa which is more often
than not comes in stronger body, this cup of java presents smoother fruity
notes of pink grapefruit, sunflower seed and 70% dark chocolate- quality which
often found in handbrew or filter coffee. So yeah, the latter is my usual go-to
for any Blacl series. Guess this wasn’t bad after all! (=

you go, another impromptu quick caffeine respite before resuming the day!
