LUT GASTROBAR @ TTDI | CASUAL DINING WITH CAREFREE VIBES

Like many people, our weekend will often be filled with various food adventures after a resourceful week. Rather than the usual café hopping stint, this time has led us to a uber scrumptious fête that we stumbled upon a couple of weeks ago at TTDI.

A brisk neighbourhood largely known for many hipster cafes as well as restaurants, there are indeed several hidden chilling spots and one of them is LUT Gastrobar understatedly nestled nearby. To any unwary passer by or first timer, you could easily miss the location of this casual gastrobar due to its minimalist entrance design (=

 

However, the moment you enter beyond the door, you’re bound to be transported to a vibrantly neon-illuminated space with exposed brick and multi-dimensional graffiti and yet, imbued with subtle elegance as reflected in its thoughtfully crafted menu. LUT’s culinary eccentric leans towards unpretentious ideology of Chef Waymann whose inspiration largely stems from modern fusion of European and Japanese flair, besides his skilfully honed and talented teams who came from diverse backgrounds namely Australia, San Francisco, Singapore and Penang.

 

Featuring more of au du jour non-restrictive courses, the chef showcases unpretentious innovation in its menu using the freshest in-seasonal ingredients that will amuse the tastebud of its diners mirthfully. And we decided to give it a go with its newly launched Set Lunch (MYR 150 for 2 pax) over the weekend, awesome!

 Indeed it was a splendid afternoon at this casual dining, not to mention its swift and attentive service rendered by its crew.

Over here at LUT Gastrobar, the vibes here are very relaxing, no strict dress code whereby smart casual attire is also welcomed to join the chirpy upbeat atmosphere of conviviality while remain comfortably enjoying haute cuisine without burning a hole in hour wallet.
