SIMPLE HOMEMADE BIBIMBAP (비빔밥)!

 

"What to eat today?"




I guess most of us could easily relate on this day-to-day conundrum.

Now that i have regained some freedom and flexibility in time (which i'm really please & grateful), that means more adventures and culinary experiments at the behind-the-scene kitchen, hooray!





 So as you may have guessed it from those prelude visuals, yes, i'm finally making Gimbap from scratch!
It's something which i used to think only apart from ordering it from restaurant. But now that with the space and amenities bestowed on me, hence it only make sense to make the most out of it, same goes to live your life to the fullest at any point of time!



 Basically the ingredients that i choose to use are pretty simple. 
Some frisee salad as the greens, topped up with spam, omelette, julienned carrots atop rice that has been flavored with sesame oil and sesame seed, before finally rolled it up.







You may of course use the sushi bamboo wrap for full-proof effort, but i resort to manual hand roll as i do not have it at that point of time. Turns out it's actually pretty much doable.
Look at them, pretty cool and adorably yummy huh? ^^



The tips are to lay decently rice portion at the base and then wrap it up firmly and tight. This will help to secure all the ingredients as one.


Could also easily pass as takeaway order huh? (=
