Event Highlights
1. Thai SELECT Pavilion Showcase
The Pavilion will feature a curated selection of Thai SELECT-certified food products already thriving in the Malaysian market, brought in by trusted local distributors. Featured brands include Maepranom, Mae Supen, Deksomboon, Thai Boy, Squid, Thai Dancer, and Megachef — all renowned for their quality and authenticity. This showcase reflects Thailand’s ongoing strategy to enhance food exports and foster greater appreciation of Thai culinary excellence.
2. Thai SELECT Award Ceremony
A major highlight of the event is the Thai SELECT Award Ceremony, scheduled for 2nd July 2025, 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM at the Main Stage, Hall 4, MITEC. The ceremony will celebrate 53 Thai restaurants in Malaysia that have achieved the esteemed Thai SELECT certification — an honour recognizing establishments committed to serving authentic Thai cuisine using traditional methods and premium ingredients.

3. Live Cooking Demonstrations
Experience the soul of Thai cuisine firsthand through live cooking sessions led by chefs from award-winning Thai SELECT restaurants. Taking place over three days, these demonstrations will feature culinary masters from COCA Restaurant, THAI LUCK Thai Cuisine, Malai Thai Cuisine, Napa Authentic Thai Cuisine, Baan Thai Publika, Rama V, and Gai by Darren Chin. Dishes such as Pad Thai, Tom Yum Kung, Yum Som-O Kung, Beef Panang Curry, Ka Prao Beef, Pla Kung Pao, and Khao Soi will be prepared live — offering a multisensory journey into the heart of Thai gastronomy.

Established by Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce, the Thai SELECT program certifies Thai restaurants and ready-to-eat products around the world. More than just a mark of quality, Thai SELECT represents authenticity, heritage, and culinary pride — helping global consumers identify truly Thai products and experiences. Today, over 1,800 restaurants and 900 product lines proudly carry the Thai SELECT certification worldwide.
