understated and homey. It can accommodate up to 30 people at a time and also

Before ushering
the anticipated 3D Art beverages, let’s keep the gnawing tummy filled up heartily
with sumptuous hot dishes deliciously woofed up fresh from MACE kitchen.
GRILLED CHICKEN & WATERMELON LYCHEE SALAD (MYR 18)
Not one
to be underestimated, but this starter really projects itself tremendously well!
I actually
never thought that savoury marinated teriyaki chicken could blend in with the
sweetness of water melon, which I usually thought is served as dessert by
default, hehe. The first time when this fruit struck me surprisingly was when savouring
Watermelon and Feta Cheese Salad during
the Wine Degustation Night at Grill 582.
BEEF BACON TORTILLA WRAP (MYR 16)
For quick
bites, sink your teeth into these carefully wrapped tortillas, juicily packed
with bounteous crisp greens and beef bacon, flavoured up with special zesty
dressing.
One of
the new selections in the house!
GREEN PESTO WITH MINI SALMON (MYR 18.90)
Slurpy
spaghetti done al dente and tossed with homemade pesto sauce, topped it off
with chunky and juicy salmon fillet that is pan-grilled till lightly brown. I’ve
always been an ardent fan of any pesto-themed sauce (for I really love the
robustness from the fresh herbs taste), but this round unexpectedly, my taste bud
is more drawn to the latter- the mushroom-extravaganza!
AL FUNGHI MUSHROOMS OLIO PASTA (MYR 16)
Personally
touted as the roll- royce of mushroom
pasta that I’ve tried so far. This plate by MACE is simply captivating with
variety dose of mixed fresh herbs which include bay leaves and paprika too,
rendering it a very engaging taste that got me hooked on swirls after swirls of
noodles. It’s not surprising that this pasta dish still reigns as one of the
best seller to date.
MACE WHOLE LEG CHICKEN RICE (MYR 19.90)
First
glance immediately reminds me of the yummy local’s favourite delights, nasi
lemak with fried chicken yum! At MACE, the all-time staple bears a nostalgic
resemblance which has been slightly twisted with the addition of aromatic rice
(am guessing could it be ‘pandan leaves’ or screwpines). The toothsome grubs is
served with tastily-marinated spiced,
tender chicken leg alongside a mild spicy relish together with golden omelet slices.
BEEF BACON JACKET (MYR 26)
Some
Western dishes to look forward to- compact chicken meat wrapped within smoky
beef bacon, competently fitted as jacket as intended, seated nicely on top of
the buttery mashed potato which is a darling to have too!
The
poultry might be tad dry at times, but that is no longer a concern after enjoying
it with some drizzles of special
mushroom sauce that added different dimension to the overall flavour. The sauce is bit think but not overly pungent.
As the cliché
has it, it’s never hurt to wrap up the day on a sweet note!
POLAND CHEESECAKE WITH HONEYCOMB (MYR 11)
It’s
astonishing that MACE goes the extra mile by making its own honeycomb crumbles
to pairs with the homemade confectionary of Poland’s traditional sernik. Unlike its America’s counterpart,
this Polish cheesecake comes quite dense and rich, crustless without sour but
just some mirthful sprinkles of golden crumbs. Talking about honeycomb would
always reminds me of those mainstream soft-servetopping raving currently after my maiden encounter at Haeundae, Busan previously.
Tada! 3D-
special drinks!
As it
requires delicate efforts, please allow 10 mins for the 3D crafting time.
ICED GREEN TEA LATTE 3D (MYR 16.50)
Leaning
over the milder taste of my usual favourite matcha indulgence but still milkily enchanted.
ICED DOUBLE CHOCOLATE 3D (MYR 16.50)
Delightfully
get won over by this smooth and chocolaty artsy drink. It’s not too sweet but
prepared just nice!
HOT CAPPUCCINO (MYR 10)
My humble
attempt on the 3D Coffee Art, not too bad huh? (=
And that
officially kick starts my beautiful 2016!
May the
New Year be blessed with abundance of health and wealth, showered with happiness
and prosperity as well as more peace and love to the world we called home. Most importantly, stay active and optimistic
towards life and let’s enjoy coffee first- the cute 3D Art to spice up your day
even more!
