iKON – iKONCERT 2016 [SHOWTIME] TOUR IN KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA!

 

iKON, the hottest and most anticipated Korean rookie group, has hold their first ever Malaysia concert at Stadium Negara with iKONCERT 2016 [SHOWTIME] TOUR IN KUALA LUMPUR at 7:30p.m. last August 13th, 2016!

Chanwoo (정찬우)

iKON composed of seven members namely B.I, JINHWAN, BOBBY, YUNHYEONG, JU-NE, DONGHYUK and CHANWOO. Within just a few months of their debut, iKON has been regarded as a frequent award grabber. They won all rookie awards in 2015 Melon Music Awards, 2015 MAMA, the Seoul Music Awards, the Golden Disc Awards and the 5th Gaon K-POP Chart Awards, becoming the first rookie group in 8 years to achieve “Grand Slam”. They have been named as the “Top 5 K-Pop Artists to Watch in 2015” by Billboard.

On April 22nd,2016 iKON held their 1st Asia tour concert at Taipei Arena.

Without a doubt, the iKONic concert kicked off with a bang, echoed with the applauds and cheers from its massive fans warmly illuminating the hall with the lovely and enchanting red neons!

I guess pictures speak louder than words, and so, without further ado, have a quick run down with the many momentous pictures that were able to be vividly imprinted in the "HEART-disk"!

The group impersonating the '위아래' (UP&DOWN) track made famous by the chic ladies band; EXID(이엑스아이디)!

 

It was such an energetic and terrific night well spent with talented chingu from South Korea! 

Hoping to see more upbeat K-Pop performance gracing Malaysia's Hallyu scene more often again!
