become even more matured with the latest grand opening of premium wines
importer; CORKs OUT, located at the ever thriving neighbourhood of
TTDI.

Rebranded previously from
Denise Wine at TTDI, Corks Out focuses
more on small scale production of boutique wines where each and every bottle
are being thoroughly searched and tested before bringing them into their retail
shop for local wine enthusiast to grab one(or few more) conveniently at a truly
affordable retail price! Reason being is Corks Out gets their assorted wine
bottles supply directly from the various established vintners itself over the
globe, hence giving the best of both worlds to consumers here- quality and
price.
ITALY | ZENI 1870 SOAVE CLASSICO 2016 (12.5
% v.b.a)
Green and flinty white
wine that greets the palate with cool, citrus minerality, end up on a crisp and
refreshing notes.
AUSTRALIA | STELLA BELLA MARGARET RIVER 2009 TEMPRANILLO (14%
v.b.a)
Diminutive form of the
temprano meaning “early”, a reference to the variety’s early ripening
characteristics. In temperate maritime, climate of Margaret River, this fleshly
and tannic grape produces a wine with deep, , dark savory plum, fruit and a
dusty earth perfume. The abudnat fruit tanning gives focus to the palate and
assures a long living wine.
AUSTRALIA | STELLA BELLA MARGARET RIVER 2010 SANGIOVESE CARBERNET
SAUVIGNON (14% v.b.a)
This blend is a wine of
grape contrasts. The savoury dry cherry and chunky tannins of Sangiovese
juxtapose the sweet red berry and fien tannins of Cabernet Sauvignon. In time
these components melt in a “bricks and mortar” fashion- more heterogeneous than
homogeneous yet supple in structure, rich in fruits and contrasts.
And now is the time to officiate the limited edition sparkling
wines!
SPAIN | CAVA VALLFORMOSA ORIGEN BRUT (
11.50% v.b.a)
The unique cava blend by
this iconic Spanish sparkling wines came not a bit overshadowed by the previous
vinos. This internationally recognized brand tickles the palate amusingly with cherry
and peach characteristics, with some earthy notes on the finish. Personally, it’s
my fave bottle among the rest, being an avid lover of sparkling wines ever
since tasted Fürstenfass Pheromon 750.

friends alike mouthwateringly accompanied besides the many vintage tipples,
Corks Out has also prepared an array of moreish tapas to ensure each one of us
are under good hands. Those tantalizing and brilliant accompaniments are deliciously
crafted by none other than Jave, the Brand Manager of Dionysus Asia who also
has flair in gastronomy.

Jave with 8 years’
experience in wine industry, is one who adores the charming marriage of Italian
wines with Spanish repast. A person full of zeal that transmits culinary idea
through his much toothsome nosh preparation that rotates weekly- which means,
the tapas menu changes every week! Wow, that certainly requires huge efforts,
time, passion and of course, creativity! Talking about it now makes me excited all
over again for there is so much more elements of surprise to be anticipated
from this innovative maestro. Kudos!
