TRAVEL | PERTH DAY 8 @ AUSTRALIA

Entering the 8th day of the Aussie trip after latest pitstop at Right On Burgers, the escapade was actually nearing its completion before we flew off 2 days later.
And so before we left another beautiful town of Bunburry back to Perth with a quick visit at Fremantle in between, we managed to stumble upon another favourite sighting- lighthouse serendipity in Bunburry. Thereafter, we had some quick grubs along the way while continued to be amazed by diverse historical architecture of the country.

BUNBURY LIGHTHOUSE@ BUNBURY, PERTH
Least did we expect that we would find another lighthouse nearby Wander Inn, apart from Cape Leeuwin and Cape Naturaliste that we happened to visit few days ago. Seems like a lovely serendipity of the beginning of next attempt as in lighthouse chaser?
It was another blessed sunny day whereby all shutterbugs would be more than thrilled, for we both knew that the lenses shall be well fed with lots, lots memorable and vivid snapshots.
BREAD IN COMMON @ FREMANTLE
So we settled down with Bread in Common after getting suggestion from an Aussie friend on which was his fave café to go.
Equipped with seasonal menus and artisanal breads in a lofty warehouse space with wood-fired, volcanic-rock ovens, this place certainly looked rustic and hipster in a way, not to mention aesthetically enticing too! All the breads were daily baked, made from organic flours, salt and spices through a slow sourdough fermentation process.
FREMANTLE MARKET @ PERTH
How aesthetic it was! Despite been operating since 1897, the building was still very well maintained, looking spick and span.
Various fresh local produce, flowers, bakeries, dairy products, indigenous products, whatnots and many more- all were vibrantly beckoning! Not forgetting unique food offerings that were gracing the beautiful Fremantle Market. The market was simply full to the brim of fresh fruit and vegetables, indirectly rending such an endearing sight to behold.as a very helpful and amiable person! We better get goin’…………
TAKA'S KITCHEN- JAPANESE CUISINE @ PERTH CBD
A wide variety of Japanese cuisines like teriyaki chicken and tempura to sushi were available and all made fresh on the premise. Decent space and conjures the vibes of a fast food sushi scene.
As for desserts, I went for a casual stroll and just tried some shops randomly.
Bumped into a rather groovy gelataria of Chicho with dark blue neons.
Lavender & Honeycomb with Roast Macadamia & White Choc Crisp
Indulgent and milky to my liking.
Subsequently, I had the third scoop from Gelare upon passing by thereafter.
Thence, enjoying my third scoop soon after clearing my 2 scoops from Chicho moments ago, hehe.
When it comes to ice cream, I have no doubts on the quantity that my tummy can accommodate. As the saying goes, “There is always an extra stomach for desserts”, right?
After fixing the sweet tooth craving, finally it’s time for us to call it a day and aim for a good slumber at the cozy crib located strategically in Leederville.
Other various magnificent cathedrals and unique architecture seen around Perth CBD.
Government House
One of Perth's most prominent landmarks, Government House has been home to the Governors of Western Australia since 1863. It is the official residence of the Governor of Western Australia, situated in the central business district of Perth, the state capital
Perth Town Hall
At the corner of Hay and Barrack streets in Perth, Western Australia.
Built in 1870, Perth Town Hall is Australia’s only Gothic-style town hall, and the only town hall built by convicts
St George's Cathedral
Located on St Georges Terrace in the centre of the city, this cathedral is the principal Anglican church in the city of Perth, Western Australia
