Sticky Fingers Bangkok Bistro @ Pavillion, KL

Guess it’s another round of Thai food exploration again :D This time we are having lunch at Sticky Fingers Bangkok Bistro, which is located conveniently at Level 14, Pavillion KL. From the exterior, the restaurant actually seems more like a bistro to me  rather than a place for you to have lunch, before I step into it to find out more about their main course menu :D As you are walking in, you would be entertained visually with their many aesthetic ceramic and glassware sitting gracefully at the shelves. Some even are glittering in gold! The place is actually pretty dimly lit, depicting some chic and funky-cum- cultural elements, with various scenery pictures of Thailand, nicely decorating on the wall. Also, there is a huge florescent of a cutesy elephant sitting vertically at the area further into the bistro too :D

Stir Fried Asparagus with Shrimp with Choice of Topping (Garlic or Shrimp Gravy)
After the rice has been served on our plate, soon the dishes joining us one by one. First to be introduced is this Stir Fried Asparagus with Shrimp with Choice of Topping, and so we opt for the simple garlic gravy. I enjoy the asparagus very much for the crispiness it offers, and also the succulence of the big prawns. The fried garlic in some oil actually helps to bring up the overall flavor and the ingredients are really fresh! Yummy!

Bangkok Style Tom Yam with King Prawn (Clear soup)
‘Wow’ is the best word to describe the utter excitement! :D This Bangkok Style Tom Yam with King Prawn in cooked in Clear soup, unlike the usual reddish that we often see. It’s said that the reddish soup originates from the southern part of India. I personally prefer this version than the other for I feel that it’s less oily and more flavorful with the spices. The King Prawn is definitely a bonus for its juiciness and sweetness, but there are merely two being served.

Signature Thai Green Curry
Am pretty sure green curry is no stranger to many of us nowadays. So we call for the Signature Thai Green Curry for some real indulgence. It’s delectable, comes with nice green curry aroma and not too spicy. The slices of chicken breast meat is also tender and get to be infused with the green curry. Nevertheless, the same fare I have at Celadon seems to be much better and sumptuous. The recipe from the latter offers diners much thicker curry base, perhaps more coconut milk added, albeit spicier :D

Not to miss their signature Signature Pandan Chicken

Ensued next is Signature Steamed Seabass with Lime & Chilli

Ah, here it comes, the Signature Sticky Fingers Mango Sticky Rice!

Signature Homemade Red Ruby Waterchestnut
Fret not if you are already sweating, do get some help by savouring the Signature Homemade Red Ruby Water chestnut. It’s really chilling and toothsome! You get to dive into the milkiness of the dessert while chewing the water chestnut crunchily. Besides, you also get to enjoy the rosy scent too as you enjoy the rubies alongside some slices of jackfruit. The coconut milk really blends in well as a whole with the assorted ingredients and not too sweet. Wonderful :D
