Pizza San Francisco @ The Mines Shopping Mall, Seri Kembangan
After
a short ‘bookathon’ at Big Bad Wolf held at MIECC, we finally headed down to
the mall for some dinner to conclude the carefree Sunday.
Here
we go, Pizza San Francisco located brightly with its bold written trademark,
located just next to Chilla Cup. The restaurant is spacious and holds a sense
of serenity feel. Decently decorated on the wall are those paintings depicting
the signature menu from the inspiration by this restaurant..
As
we have seated down, I happen to see that their kitchen is rather ‘open’, in
the sense that at times, you could see that the chefs are attentive to needs
and gestures from the customers- trying to see if the food is of satisfactory
level perhaps? ^_^
Drinks
selection are rather common in the list, so Ipoh White Coffee (MYR3.90) couldn’t be any wrong. We actually
brushed off the idea of having latte for the disappointment that if the latte
is served without any art per se, but this is just our personal opinion :D
Pizza
is a must as this remains the signature dish from this eatery. We call for the Quattro Stagione (Regular- MYR 21.90) that
comes with slices of turkey salami, mushroom, bell pepper, fresh tomato and
mozarella cheese. I must say I enjoy the gooeyness of the cheese that is generously
doused on top of the pizza dough, covering the bed of all the ingredients
goodness. It is another wonderful gourmet enjoyment when you get to bite on the
crisp and juicy bell peppers that don’t too try through the baking process. It
will taste better and more comforting is the pizza bread base could be less
thicker, other than that, nothing else to complain.
Having
only pizza pastry doesn’t seem to fully refuel us up metabolically, thus coming
up next would be the Ireland Chicken
Pasta (MYR 16.90). Seemingly an ubiquitous plate of pasta from its humble
presentation, you would be glad to learn that there are more to please your
ever eager taste bud. After a taste of the orangey and curry-like gravy, my
palate is awestricken with the smoothness and engaging fine herbes aroma from
it. Later only do I know that it is made of special tomato and cream sauce
base. No wonder it is so scrumptious and unmistakably, comes with my all time
favorite creamy texture, albeit the lighter one. The linguine that is cooked together
with sauteed chicken, mushroom and capsicums, is equally splendid with its
springiness and silkiness. It is not spicy thus making it an ideal treat even
to the kids.
Last
but not least to sum up the day, we let the honour goes to Brownies (MYR 7.90), that comes in a rich and coarsely grinded
nuts, with brownies served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup drizzled
at the base. We can’t stop but to continue to enjoy the ice cream most,
alongside scoops of the warm brownies intermittently. The mashed nuts lends
some nutty texture which can be quite addictive.
Ma Ma Mia! Alright, time to call it a day...................
