TRAVEL DAY 4- SKY TERRACE 428 @ THE PEAK, HONG KONG
Now that I got to really
visit the cosmopolitan city myself which I only used to see it from the many
TVB dramas shows on the television, it definitely feels great! And also more hidden
surprises that I happen to stumble upon when discovering the region with
Romeo’s luck earlier, such as the mesmerizing Auberge Discovery Bay that easily captivates anyone with its
stunningly elegant white chapel at its peaceful enclave.
As
the fourth day marks my final stay in Hong Kong, so we decided it to end it
with a bang with another visit to the iconic The Peak soon after coming back from Discovery Bay via ferry to Central MTR. That’s when before we
realized that we would need to succumb to the heavy crowds at the Tram Station.
Nevertheless, it’s the quickest and most
scenic way to arrive at The Peak. Hence, we bought the combo ticket in the
interest of time as we were told that such pass entitled us to the express lane,
and so we thought…………….but still gotta cramped with people!! Ok, fine, haha…………….
The
sun was already on its way of setting down, painting the sky with beautiful
horizon of romantic twilight……………………………
……………….before
the tranquil night was gorgeously illuminated with the many bright and
colourful skyscrapers, rendering it a scenic nightscape not to be missed by any
vacationer.
Guess
pictures do speak thousand words, hence immortalizing my memories of the year
2016 beautifully with the footprint left here :D
And
so, after our light chatters and spending some relaxing time with cool hillside
breeze brushing by the cheeks, we soon headed down to another must-visit site- Madame Tussauds™ Hong Kong before
wrapping up the day on a lill’ amorous note with candle light dinner at Hong
Kong gastronome's paradise- The Peak
Lookout, which offers fine food in an atmosphere of intimacy and elegant
relaxation with a warm welcome and friendly service. It’s a perfect place with peaceful
setting for people to relax and unwind after a busy day of work or sightseeing.
Cheers
for now and follow us at Carpe Diem for more ‘food-ful’ discoveries! ❤ℒℴѵℯ❤
