MACQUARIE SEAFOODS @ MACQUARIE PARK, SYDNEY
Upon arrival to Sydney the first day, we took a cab
from the airport straight to our buddy lodge in suburb North Ryde, where it’s
strategically located in Macquarie Park with a large shopping mall that was
easily accessible just a stone’s throw away- very convenient and we love
shopping there indeed especially at night after we’re back from whole day
strolling, hehe ^^
Finally reunited with my childhood fave Uncle Toby's!!
It’s about lunch time when we
arrived at this neighbourhood mall, fully equipped with various F&B
choices. So much so that we were spoilt for choices. Luckily, our fellow buddy Tuck
ensured we were under good hands by sharing some yummy suggestions to keep us
accompanied meanwhile as he was actually still working on that day.
After quick browsing around, we
stopped by Macquarie Seafood as our sights were literally locked on to the
myriad choices of fresh seafood on the ice bed upon laying our eyes on them,
wow!
Grilled Tuna Steak (AUD 10.50)
Comes with chips, salad and a can
of beverage. 
One of their signature special
dish- not one but two real thick slab of tuna chunk was served atop the sides,
very juicy and succulent indeed!
No wonder all the guys loved it!
As for us the ladies, we can’t
help but to fall head over heels again and again for this sumptuous treat.
Mix Grill (AUD 12)
A tantalizing potpourri of prawn,
octopus, calamari, mussels and fish, also comes with chips, salad and a can of
beverage.
Not only it’s generously served
(look at that huge portion!), all the seafood was exceedingly fresh and full of
oceanic sweetness too! No wonder our amigo Penny can’t get over it even till
now, raving how it was! Talking about that now does make me kind of craving for
it already (=

Anyway, we made it a quick one
before heading to the nearby Macquarie University subway, as we plan to have a
free and easy tour around the CBD and getting ourselves familiar with the
places first.
