LWIN LEE | INSPIRING KOREA: ♥ ♥ AUTUMN IN BUSAN Day 2 ♥ ♥
Rise & shine!
Yeah, indeed we woke up extremely early that particular day for our trip
to the beautiful Beomeosa Temple !
Alright, soon we got into our designated bus No.90, and after some
30mins ride, we reach the destination finally- Beomeosa, here we come!
Only fresh air and lush greens surrounds you- that Zen- tranquility is priceless!
No hurry and just enjoy the stroll relaxingly while enjoying the picturesque
view at this historical place.
Coincidentally there was a formal ceremony being carried out at the
temple having a group of respected monks, VIPS and several broadcasting cameras
too, and we are rather thrilled to witness it live. Perhaps it was some special
prayer day and so, we think it’s better that we don’t interrupt much as we are
totally clueless about the event, so we just proceed with our leisure walk
while observing the many colorful and artistic wall sculpture from the old
times. It must have taken a really good pair of skillful hands to come up with
such quality carving.
Among the many halls at Beomeosa temple, Bojeru Pavilion is the largest
one that usually houses the most Dharma assemblies and Buddhist rituals. From
there, we proceed to Daeungjeon Hall, Jijangjeon Hall and many more.
There is only one word to describe the feeling at that moment- Inner-peace………..
Soon, we passed by the Wisteria Habitat that- the Beomeosa Temple Valley
that is most beautiful in May. Looking forward to be back again for another season!
After that, we went back to the city via the same bus route and we stopped
by Pusan Nat’l Iniv station before headed to Oncheonjang station
for another forest hike at Geumjeongsan.
Geumjeongsanseong Fortress
So many gates, so we took the East Gate of Geumjeongsanseong Fortress.
And what’s awaiting us was another breathtaking view from the top with
beautiful flowers and chilling breeze. Even the washrooms there were cuter than
elsewhere! (=
Subsequently, we headed back to the town to have some quick grubs to fix
the worked-out muscles, hehe. So here we are, at Caffé Bene in Busan!
As usual, matcha scoop (KRW 3,000), caffe latte (KRW 4.6) and walnut waffle (KRW 4.6).
Hence, tummy is temporarily rewarded, hehe.
Soon, it’d dinner time and we decided to drop by a nearby restaurant
selling barbequed meat. Ah, immediately samgyeopsal came into my mind! Slurps!
It was so obvious that we are kinda noob when it comes to grilling a
perfect samgyeopsal that the sajangnim and the next table oppa, couldn’t take
it anymore and came to our rescue of the meat- before they all went scorched!
Haha……….. Perhaps kinda an amusing scene to him, so he insisted to have a
picture taken with him when the camera was actually passed to him to help us
take group picture, haha. Kamsahapnida!!
After such a satisfying feast, we decided to have another round of walk
to help digestion (= And tada! There we are, at the lookup point of Busan
Port & Yeongdo Bridge!

The night scene was nothing short than amazing! Same goes to the wind
too- don’t be fooled by my steady face and the calm environment as that night
breeze, atop the tower was actually really, really cold! Blustering at a rapid
air current that would shiver any man too! So lesson learnt, never assume the
slightly warmer temperature at the low land after BBQ would keep you warm
throughout the night, much lesser when you clad in short pants unexpectedly
went up to the viewing tower and encountered with unwavering gust of winds, the
chilling moment is just ……just…..indescribable! May be one good thing is, it
had already helped me burned of the excess calories from the samgyeopsal, hehe

Guess that pretty much sums up that night along with some coffee (latte,
mocha & cappuccino) from the nearest GS25 that we immediately dashed over
after reaching the ground, haha. So let’s adjourned for a little while before sharing
another Busan stories soon- which includes the extraordinary unplanned run into in Busan with 3 musketeers (Chef, IT & Steward) which then blossoms into a memorable friendship from Busan to Seoul and of course, till now, hehe. So stay tuned and more sharing comin' up soon!
