It still amazes us how quiet and peaceful Pemberton
town is. Work-life-balance is certainly one of the values we could capture here
for us to bring back those insights and to try apply upon our return to
homeland later- for a more holistic life and lesser of the virtual world per se

Before we really left Pemby for Augusta, we dropped by
The Crossings Bakery to make it up back to my last night “endurance” from the
upset tummy- at least I did try some local delights right?
Air of geniality greeted us once we stepped in and my
eyes can’t stop but gazing at those many choices of fresh bakeries that were
ready to be sold on the shelves. Too bad we had a limited tummy, otherwise,
don’t mind to savour a few pieces more rather than take-away.
So we tried some of the inhouse special meaty pie that
was simply gorgeous, besides sweeter bites such as the berry long donut and lemon
custard, if not mistaken, all amounted to AUD 20.20. Besides getting those
pastries, we also ordered 2 cups of joe to go along- latte and WP’s pick-me-up
Long Black! :D
Osso buco pie if not mistaken? But one thing for sure,
the meaty filling was really, really moist and tender, very flavourful too!
