Dragon-I @ Pavillion, KL
Well, Dim Sum is synonym with Chinese folks and is a style
of cuisine which is prepared as a small bite-sized portion, usually served on a
small plate. Besides it’s cute presentation, this delish bites are also well
known for the unique way it is served in most of the restaurants, wherein fully
cooked and ready-to-serve dim sum dishes are carted around the restaurant for
customers to choose their orders while seated at their tables. But that’s not
the case here at Dragon-I, Pavillion KL :)
The place is cosily air-conditioned with quirky interior
décor.
Soon the famous Shanghai Steamed Meat Dumpling arrived on
the table. They do have chicken if you prefer that. As for us, we would like to
stick to the authentic eating which is with minced pork filling. Steaming hot from
the kitchen, the little pau came nicely arranged in four, in a steamer basket. Caution
be taken when eating it as inside the thin-layered pau, stores some juicy soup
in it. It’s hot, so be careful. Normally it’s eaten with ginger slices dipped
in vinegar. Yum!
Soon to join us is my all time favourite Salted Egg Yolk Custard
Bun! Needless to say, it taste heavenly as it melted in your mouth slowly,
tantalizing each of your taste buds. :P The custard filling is so fragrant with
the salted egg, and darn sinful. But am loving it! :P
To wrap up this ‘yam cha’ session, I opt for warm soya bean
to clear the throat. I would say they do serve pretty good original soya bean,
not like those commercialized one. It is not sweet and just taste original like
those homemade. Slurps! ^^
