LWIN LEE | GLORIA JEAN’S COFFEES @ WORLDWIDE
Another
coffee place has just sprung up conveniently at Menara Worlwide, just a stone’s
throw away from my company (=
Aroma from Gloria Jean’s Coffees, bet it’s no
stranger to many of us, albeit the many other conglomerate peers like
Starbucks, CBTL, Pacific Coffees and many more which included numerous indie coffee
establishments too.
Love the cozy
environment and comfy couch, not as dreadfully crowded like the other prime
premises, but it does get bit briskish during peak hours especially as it’s just
so nearby to many the white-collar folks in the vicinity.
Some of the merchandise on sale.
Fresh coffee beans..........if you are hardworking enough to grind them yourselves at home :)
Varieties of flavour for everyone!
One of the
many cuppa that captures us delightfully are :
Irish Nut Crème (MYR 13.50)
Creamio and
rich is coffee taste, satisfying!
If you are lucky to have your barista on a happy mood that day, then you would have a lovely-crafted latte upon request, hehe. But of course, only possible if the time allows and convenient to them when the crowds are still manageable.
Macadamia Latte (MYR 13.50)
Rather
intrigued by the macadamia additions to coffee in the first place and wonder how would it fare. Surprisingly it’s good and
blend well with the coffee. Compared to the Irish Nut Crème, I personally deem
this is a tad stronger in flavor but nonetheless, makes a good cup of Joe anytime!
And dessert
seems to be a must-have in any coffee session, so we try out the Butterscotch
Cheesecake (MYR 9).
It’s moist
and milky, comes with slight hint of butterscotch sweetness. It makes an ideal
partner to any coffee beverage as the sugariness from the cake is balanced off
by the bitter-sweetness from the coffee taste.
A effective
and quick reboot in between hectic schedule :)
